The Shue-Spears Family Scholarship

Established in 2016 by Dr. Donald O. Shue, this gradually-endowed scholarship was created to to honor the memory of Susan E. (Spears) Shue and to assist Cedarville University junior and senior students with demonstrated financial need. The grantor encourages the recipients with the wisdom of Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." and the exhortation of Colossians 3: 17, "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Recipients must be junior or senior students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Christian Education, Early Childhood Education, Middle Childhood Education, or Music Education with a grade average of 3.0 and active in Christian ministries.
