The Rooney Fund Scholarship Program

For Children of Ex-Pupils of OSSO/OVCH

The Rooney Fund Committee awards scholarships to children of EX-PUPILS of Ohio Veterans Children's Home (formerly the OSSo Home).

The applicant must:

  1. Be a child of an ex-pupil of the OSSO/OVCH.
  2. Submit a formal application to the Rooney Fund committee. Information provided on the application will be confidential.
  3. Be enrolled in and /or pursuing a recognized and approved educational program.
  4. Submit an official letter of acceptance from the registrar of the university, college or school.
  5. Submit all necessary information to the Rooney Fund Committee.

The maximum scholarship award to any applicant in a calendar year is currently $1,000.

*Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office.
