Women for Scholarship

Established in 2009 by Mrs. Lynne Brown, wife of former University President William Brown, and the volunteer organization Women for Scholarship, this annually-funded scholarship was created to help University students fill the gap of their unmet financial need. The scholarship was endowed on May 10, 2011 by donors who were moved by the efforts of Women for Scholarship and wanted to ensure that the scholarship would continue. Recipients must be freshmen, sophomore, junior and/or senior students with demonstrated financial need.
