I live like 20 minutes away from Albany and have been accepted for the class of 2013. Not to worry; you're not the only one.

It is so nice to know that I'm not alone! How far is Cedarville from wher you live? It is about 10.5 hours for me. I got to Fonda Fultonville High School, have you heard of it? I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't, it's kinda in the boonies. I see that you like to run, are you running track? I'm doing indoor and outdoor track, so if you are there would be a possibility of meeting up. And that would be soo soo cool. I haven't actaully met any one else going to Cedarville. My sn is cheerleggz16, so feel free to chat.

You go to Fonda? No way! We have meets there all the time. It's about an hour from me. I do bowling in the winter but track in the spring (distance: 800 is the shortest thing I'll run). Cedarville is somewhere between 9 and 10 hours away. I have the exact number written down somewhere. I go to Schenectady Christian in Scotia and live in Clifton Park.

I have AIM, but for some reason my computer hates me and refuses to let me login. So I mostly keep in touch with people via facebook and email. (Mine is true2unn@aol.com - just make sure the subject lets me know who you are) And if AIM suddenly starts working, it's true2unn.

Small world, right? Your school is at Fonda for track a lot! Maybe we could meet up during the spring! that would be amazingly awesome. I run mostly shorter events like 400's and under, and 800's would most likely be my highest distance. Our school just formed a bowling team, so maybe if they have a game against Schenectady Christian I could go. This is so exciting. My email is cheerleggz16@yahoo.com . So what made you want to go to Cedarville?

I know, really? We go to Fonda for a bowling match on a Friday in mid-late December. If I look at my calender I can find the exact date.

I first got interested in Cedarville because, ironically enough, my running coach Mr. Foster suggested it. That's where he went, and he thought I'd love it. About half a dozen other people from my high school class are looking at it, and every time someone goes for a visit we ask them when they get back if they saw the life-sized statue of Mr. Foster in the center of campus (wearing a Phillies hat and short running shorts, or course ) We have two or three people completely convinced that it exists. XD

Where did you first hear about Cedarville?

I first heard of Cedarville from my grandmother. She is an alum, and graduated from there way back in the day, like 1965 or something close to that. My uncle also attended Cedarville, he lives about 10 minutes from campus. And early in my college search I told myself that I needed to be on a Christian campus. I looked into Houghton, Geneva, Grove City, Liberty, and Cedarville. I visited all of these but Liberty, and I fell in love with Cedarville. I love the openess and the feel of the atmosphere. The food in my opinion is delicious, and the girls I stayed with overnite in Maddox were the best. I am so excited about going to the "Ville, and I cannot wait.

Ok, the bowling match is on Dec 19. I just memorized my December calender... looking at it constantly trying to find openings for stuff can do that

I've visited (some on school trips) Geneva, Grove City, Wheaton, Trinity, Messiah, Judson, Eastern Nazerene, and Gordon in addition to Cedarville. I only liked Cedarville and Wheaton, and out of the two I liked Cedarville more. I still applied to both and haven't officially made my final decision yet, but I'm pretty sure it'll wind up being Cedarville

Nope. Unless my family randomly decides to go or I'm on a date, I rarely go anywhere. And my mom always has a ton of extra work this time of year, especially this week. It'll only get worse as it gets closer to Christmas. At least this year I have my license and a vehicle to make it easier; she doesn't have to coordinate rides to and from all of my numerous activities

Wow, I haven't been on here in a while...

So I dunno what happened to the bowling match, but we never wound up going. I think at least the guys have a match at Fonda sometime in January, and even if the girls don't I'll probably go anyway. As soon as I talk to my coach next week I can confirm a date and time.

lets see, if i had to take a guess at my bowling average...probably a 100. I'm pretty bad. Although there was one game during WOL superbowl that i got four strikes in one game(yes that's a big deal to me) . So what sort of things do you do in the city for fun? I live in an area completely opposite of you so I am completely oblivious to all the city has to offer. Where I live my friends and I bike to little country stores and buy ice pops and we go swimming and hiking. We take walks and go on picnics. We do a lot of outdoors calm relaxing things. But I also enjoy a good slip and slide and mud fights and baking. I ove to cook. Chicken and cookies; those are my favorite things to bake/ cook. Whay sort of things do you like to do?

I've gone to the city for the Pace University Summer Scholars program (last summer) and for two Broadway shows with my mom... and I've determined that I *love* the country. I only have three neighbors within sight of my house, and am surrounded by a few hundred acres of corn (two of those neighbors also have farms). So I should be right at home at Cedarville.
Bowling this year, I had an average of 153 at matches, though if I included practices it would probably be higher than that, because I only broke 200 at matches a couple of times and I broke it at practice almost every time. Depends on the lanes mostly.
Can't wait to get there; leaving early Thursday so I can get there by that evening... it's a good thing that I'm used to just sitting around and reading for hours on end. That's pretty much all I ever really do at my house, though I have several cats and used to have horses. Because I went to a private school, everyone lived in radically different places, so none of my friends really live anywhere close to my house. I can honestly say that my brother is my best friend, and we've been going to amusement parks together all summer. I think he'll be just as upset as my mom when I leave. And my 4-year-old cousin was getting really upset that I was leaving. She told her babysitter, "I'm never going to college! I can't believe she'd be that mean and leave me."
Ooh, what kind of cookies do you like baking? My favorites are oatmeal chocolate chip with craisins. But you can't let me anywhere near them or I'll seriously eat like a dozen.

Well i'm a fellow New Yorker (regrettably) .
I live over in Glenville, about 30-40 minutes from Albany (depending on how you drive ). I used to live over in SC, that's why i say regrettably i'm from NY.
I'm heading over this fall because i've heard a lot of good things about it from some friends who've gone, so i'm excited.
