Hey Girls! My name is Janna Isings and I'm looking for someone that I click with as a roomie this coming fall semester 2011!
Okay, so here are some things you should know about me. I can't sleep without a fan on or with any light on. I go to bed fairly early 12:00 am is the latest (on week nights...weekends are a different story lol). I'm a pretty clean person but not a clean freak lol. I am a Special Education Dual licence major! I love the color purple andd my favorite thing to do is sing all the time :]! I'm pretty out going and I want a roomate that will become a good friend! Hi Janna! It's nice to see you've started looking early on! haha! My name is Hannah and I live in Dallas, TX. I was kind of thinking about requesting someone in my same major, which is Nursing, but I'm fine with someone not in my major. Like you, I tend to be in bed asleep before 12. I don't usually sleep with a fan on, but it doesn't bother me as long as its not blowing cold air on me in the winter, haha! I'm usually very neat, but if I'm crazy busy I'm not as neat (but I'm never really messy). My favorite colors.... turquoise and green.

Oh, I LOVE SINGING too!!!! haha! I love Broadways - I've been to Phantom of the Opera, Mary Poppins, and Wicked. I'm planning on being in the One Voice Gospel Choir when I'm on campus. I'm not very outgoing, but I'm not shy either: kind of in the middle.

So... where are you from? Are you planning to have purple stuff in your dorm room? What kind of classes will you be taking freshman year? What dorm are you most interested in? Would you rather bunk or unbunk the beds?

Hey Hannah!!! So nice to kinda meet you haha. I love broadway too! I've seen all you've mentioned except wicked. I've also seen beauty and the beast and the adams family. Buttttt phantom is my favorite . And I can understand the major thing. I'm actually from New Jersey born and raised! I don't think I'm going to have a lot of purple things. I mainly just wear purple .I'm not sure on my classes right now :/ however I'll let you know when I do. I was planning requesting printy! And the beds are unbunked there.

You know, our names are pretty similar! haha!
I was actually planning on putting Maddox as my first choice of dorm because I'll have so many classes in the Nursing and Science Building and it's more towards the center of Earth. Printy will be my second choice though.

Hey! my name is Claire Funkhouser and I really hope to be coming to Cedarville this fall! I am awaiting their financial aid package offer. lol I like purple but my favorite color is pink. I plan on majoring in education and being involved in the music dept. I am in band and choir and I love singing too! my HS is doing Phantom of the Opera for our spring musical this year. It's gonna be AMAZING! I have also seen Wicked (Cleveland), Tarzan (NYC), and Mary Poppins (Chicago)! I am pretty orderly, but not OCD and don't mind a fan. The latest I can stay up is about 2 am but that is only when I'm at sleepovers. lol I usually go to bed between 10 and midnight. I stayed in Printy for the Leadership Conference and loved it! Can't wait to hear back from you! Oh yeah, and I'm from a small town in eastern Ohio called Damascus!

Claire! So nice to meet/talk to you :]! What do you do for fun? And what kind of music do you like listening to? It would be awesome to possibly apply to be roomates if that's what God wants. What school do you attend? Yeah haha can't wait to learn more about you!

It's so great to meet you both!

Janna!! I am pretty involved in the music dept at my school. I'm in the band and I play 7 instruments!! I am also in the show choir and we do a big Christmas show and perform 25-30 shows in the month of December. It's a lot of fun. Now I am busy with play practices!! I hang out with my friends a lot and we play Just Dance and eat cookie dough and watch movies. lol I love Christian Rock mostly. I listen to TobyMac A LOT, Hawk Nelson, Kutless, Skillet, Needtobreathe, and various others. I go to West Branch High School!! Home of the Warriors!!

Wow we have so much in common :]! Except ofc I don't play 7 instruments which is amazing btw haha. I love being in plays and if my school offered drama I would def be in it haha. (Just dance is my fave although I can't dance to save my life) Christian Rock is all I listen too and I love all the bands you named...I'm not big into secular music. I attend a small little Koren boarding school called New Jersey United Christian Academy (I'm not Korean though haha) And we are home of the Mustangsss Holla! :] do you play sports?

Christian Rock is all i listen too. It's great, so I don't really see a need to listen to anything else!! lol I love American Idol, so there are a few past contestants that I follow a little. Idk if I already told you, but our school is doing Phantom of the Opera this year!!
Thats a cool mascot!! haha I play slow pitch softball in a summer league. I've been playing since I was old enough to play t-ball. I think I was 5. haha I absolutely love it!! Do you play anything? Do you have a facebook? Look me up!!!

Haha awesome! And I think you did but that's still awesome and I am totally jealous! What part do you have? And I guess it is...lol and I actually play fast pitch softball...I also play volleyball and basketball! I love softball most though :]...I wish I did! I actually don't I took a break from it for a missions trip so it's deleted right now! Are you still interested in possibly rooming?

I am just in the chorus and also the Il Muto chorus. It's in the song "Poor Fool he makes me laugh." I played fast pitch my freshman year for the school but didn't like it. It was mostly because of the coaches. The league I play in in the summer is much more laid back and lots more fun!!

Oh that's understandable...My small little school only offers fast pitch haha. So what church do you go to?? And what are your beliefs?

Well, ill start off by saying that my dad is a pastor. He went to Ashland Seminary and is ordained in the Brethren Church. I was born in Indiana and he pastored a church there then got a new job here in Ohio. We moved when I was 6. For 10 years he was the pastor at a 1st Brethren Church. In 2008, he resigned because of some conflicts with some deacons. We were living in the parsonage at the time, so we had to move. We moved about 5 miles away to our current house that we rent from another church, although he isn't the pastor there. At first he didn't preach anywhere, he only did some pulpit fills here and there. But he is currently the interim pastor at a Church of the Brethren about 30 min from our house. He goes there on Sundays and my mom and I (I'm an only child) go to another church 2 min from our house. It is called Community Bible Church and it's non-denominational. It's hard not being together as a family every sunday, but it's what we gotta do to pay the bills! He also is a substitute teacher in my school district. Was that too confusing?? Sorry if it was!
As for my beliefs, they are pretty traditional/conservative. I'm Pro-Life, against same-sex marriage, The Roman Road to Salvation (Rom. 3:23, 6:23, 5:8, 10:9-10) explains how to receive the gift of eternal life, the whole Bible is true-not just certain books or versus. I'm not a huge fan of baby baptisms, because at that age they can't comprehend or understand what is going on. A person should be older and understand the Bible before baptism. Baby dedications are different though. Those are ok.
I guess that's about it. Are they pretty similar to your beliefs? How did you hear about Cedarville? What made you want to go there?
