Cedarville University

Hey there, I'm from Central New York (yes we have lots of snow). I recently signed with the Cedarville girls track team and am veryyyyy excited. Sports are a big passion in my life and consume a great deal of my time. I love going outside with friends and playing games, hiking or anything involving the outdoors and being active. Some may call me a die-hard when it comes to playing games i am very athletic both in clothing style and interest.

I am also a major nerd and will sometimes stay up late working on an assignment due the following week. My teachers describe me as an over-achiever. However, this doesn't mean that I do this all the time or that I never have fun. The opposite is true. I tend to be a loud, expressive person who gestures a LOT..hehe.

I also play the oboe and am planning on auditioning this fall 2011 for the band. I had the wonderful opportunity of playing in our high school musical pit orchestra 1st chair. I loved playing with people who care about expressing dramatic emotion through music. (Our production was Titanic (the stage version))

I very much did not like the motel style dorms when I stayed over with some track girls earlier this year. I want to be in either McKinny or Murphy. I am a fairly clean person, but sometimes due to time constraints don't immediatly clean up after myself. Messes do drive me nuts after they have been there for a few days.

As long as I've had enough sleep, I'm a morning person. (sorry!) I have a very long hobby list. I have many quirks such as loving to wear bare feet everywhere, and sleeping with several pillows. Just a few of my hobbies include, art projects (sketching, photography, sewing, writing poetry...etc), volleyball, gardening, herbology, hair styling/design (yes i can do fairly elaborate hairstyles from a picture, i typically don't wear them on myself), and archery. I also would love to be hooked on rock climbing.

I am a big fan of comfy clothes and modern christian music (Skillet, Tenth Avenue North, SuperChick, BarlowGirl etc...). I HATE the color pink. No ifs ands or buts about it. If you like pink, we shouldn't room together. Friends sure, roommates NO. Love ya but no.

I am a very avid reader, particularly of historical fiction and dysteria. I do not particuarly care for the Twilight series, although I will watch the movies if you bribe me with popcorn or chocolate. I enjoy studying for school and the Bible with people (more so small groups).

I am a fairly blunt person. I am very outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic about life, God, and track. I am a very loyal person who trys to stay out of drama and arguments (they waste time). I am sometimes quite weird and will often say what my friends call "nerd jokes". I am a well rounded person who gets along with people willing to try. I get very frustrated with people who don't care about their education/sport/friends (all the above).

anyway........if you can't tell I write a lot, and this very much reflects my personality. I am a good listener and very supportive person. I have been called a "motivator" by my team and current track coach. I love to laugh and smile and brighten everyone's day
