Cedarville University

Hi, my name is Belinda Darkwah and I plan to major in Pre-Pharmacy this coming fall at Cedarville! I super excited to go to Cedarville because I feel this is where God is calling me to be and the 'Ville is the only place I can see myself, being myself. I am the oldest of four kids and both my parents came from Ghana, West Africa. One cool fact about me is that my sister, Harriet and I were both born in Nagaski, Japan. I love to travel and learn about new cultures because I feel I come from a culturally diverse background. I love to have fun and making people laugh is a mission I have in life. I'm a funny, silly person who has learned over the years that life is too short to not enjoy the grace that God has given us, through his son Jesus Christ. I love helping people with anything because I feel that is the ultimate way to show the love I have for them. I am not a messy person, but I'm not a clean freak either. I don't mind which dorm I stay in, just as long as I can grew with the girls around me. I don't usually stay up late if I don't have to because Belinda loves her sleep.

Overall, I am a pretty laid-back person. I get along with everyone and I don't care who you are, you are a great and beautiful child of god. I want a roommate that I can grow in Christ with and one who I can have deep, personal conversations with. I want us to hangout and have girls night out ocassionally and meet new people together. Also, to have bible studies with and laugh and overall have an amazing time in this wonderful place called Cedarville. I don't mind if you are messy, just make sure you clean up after yourself. Since I usually don't stay up late, please be able to respect when I sleep and I will do the same for you. I want us to experience everything at Cedarville together, but also have time with other friends. Also, an accountability partner both spiritually and physicallly becuase I have struggled with my weight for a very long time and I want to stay healthy and fit in college. I want to be able to lift you up and be there for you in anyway possible because you are my sister in Christ. I will always be there for you! You are beautifully and wonderfully made and I hope I don't sound too cheesy, demanding, or desperate; I just want to have an awesomw time at Cedarville.

Hello Belinda!
I am Brandy Hembree! I plan on majoring in nursing this coming fall at Cedarville! I am very nervous but excited to be going to Cedarville! I am the youngest of three children in my family... However, my parents are foster parents so I have never truly been the "youngest" in the home! I have a huge heart for Africa! I am going to Rwanda for a month this summer to work in the orphanage! My father has also been to Japan for work many times (but I have never been). I love my sleep so by all means I will be respectful of your sleep! I am not a messy person at all... but no clean freak! I like things organized but it does not have to be perfect! I love getting to know others although I can be a little quiet in big groups I love to be around others. I do not have a favorite color (I like them all!) I like to sleep with a fan on for the noise!
I too have always struggled with my weight and would love to stay healthy and active in college! And would love to have an accountability partner spiritually and physically! I have a bible study here at home that I attend and would want to continue in a bible study that is as filling and nurturing as this one. I want a roommate that I can just hang out with and get to know deeply! And our relationship to revolve around Christ! I get along with anyone! I was looking at Maddox Hall for housing because I like the rooms being in like little pods so we get to know the others around us as well!
You by no means seem cheesy, demanding or desperate! I can tell you are just like me.. trying to find a roommate right for you in order to make your CU experience even greater!
