'Ello everyone!!!
Okay, most people would call me a prospective student. I would say I'm a little more than just prospective since I did apply. I'm working on applying. I was pretty sure this was were God wanted me, at least for my first year. Now I'm not too sure, although I think some of it might be nerves. I want to come up and visit some time though and see for myself.
I really like everything I've heard so far though. And I know I want to go to a Christian college for at least my first year of school. I haven't found one that offered game design yet though so graduating from one probably isn't an option.
Actually the only thing I really don't like is not being able to have a loft bed. I really wanted one, of course it's not something I'm going to let stop me from coming but I was disappointed about that.
Distance isn't bad, but going start there and back is 6 hours if someone picks me up or drops me off, so that would be a little rough.
I don't know though. I'm really anxious to get my application completed but haven't finished it yet. Still have to get my recommendations forms together as well.
Nice to meet you and good luck getting everything together for your recommendations.

I just sent in my church leader reccomendation form this morning so my application is done. So, like you guys, I'm just waiting for the results! I don't know yet where I want to go but I did really like Cedarville when I visited. I'm thinking about majoring in biology and english so that I can teach both at the high school level. I'm a pastor's daughter from a tiny town in Indiana.
Good luck guys!! |

Hello again!
I have sent my pastor my reccomendation form and my counselor is sending my transcript so.......yeah. Lol. I am waiting for the results. I want to attend Cedarville if God allows and major in Early Childhood Education. {Though almost everyone says I'm too smart to be a teacher.......too smart? I thought that was a requirement. Be Blessed! {Miyah Faith} ------------------------- {Miyah Faith} My knight in shining armor is on his way........but I think he got lost and won't stop and ask for directions. |

Hey , I'm morgan. and I applied in late august. Ive been accepted, and am very very happy about that. I just wanted to say that once your application is all sent in, the hardest part is waiting to recieve the acceptance/rejected letter. That was the worst part. I remember checking my application status like three times a day for like two weeks! but I wish you all luck with your applications!

Hey!
Yeah, the last bit of my application was just sent so I'll be finding out this week if I'm accepted or not! It's so nerve-racking and I'm so excited to find out. I visited Cedarville on Friday and fell in love with it! I never thought I'd be applying to Cedarville but God has really led me there and I'm so happy that happened Love in HIM, Kristin |

Hello Everyone!
I'm hoping to be expected to Cedarville next year, but as a transfer student so I'm pretty nervous about everything. I really feel like Cedarville is where I'm supposed to be after a lot of searching and praying. Hopefully all goes well. I wish you all the best of luck! Sara |

Hello All! I've applied to Cedarville and planning on attending in the Fall. This will be my second time trying to come. I'm currently in the military and had some problems last time I was accepted but I'm hoping that they will be resolved for this next time around. With the past chain of events I'm really feeling called to go to school at Cedarville but quite a bit rests in God's hands. God has to really open up the doors for me to come because I need to apply to a military program that would allow me to leave my military commitment early to go to school. With this I am giving up a steady job, almost everything I own, and the comfort of where I am at. But I figure that if this is God's will then I'll be better off giving it all up, right? I will be a transfer student but I don't know if I'll end up as a freshman or sophomore. I'm looking forward to see what God has in the next few months and hopefully I'll see all of you in the fall.

Wow, been a while. I actually am still in the waiting stages for my application, I was planning on sending it earlier but didn't finish it because I'm going to be attending my community college for next semester, and so I was unsure how to go about that.
Someone from the school called though and told me to just finish it as is and I could update it later. So I finally finished it and now just have to wait for everything to be sent in and get the results. I think I'm going to major in Computer Science. Could still change, but that's the direction I'm going. And if going to CU probably minor in Creative Writing and of course Bible. Good luck everyone, God Bless You, Brittany Koch |

I had SOO many issues getting my application in. Well, the application wasn't the bad part. I submitted that in August 08, but then after numerous letters, emails, and chats with my guidance counselor it took a LOT longer than her posted two weeks to get my transcript. She had to make it up in the middle of 11th grade, so it's not like she had to do the whole thing or anything. She says that it takes two weeks... I sent her a letter in the summer, filled out a transcript request in the beginning of September, and she still didn't get it out till the end of October.
I've been thinking about Computer Science as a major, but have also been considering Math Ed and Graphic Design. My mom the other day was suggesting Computer Forensics because she's been watching too many cop shows lately ------------------------- Class of 2013 and a member of the facebook group. A little about me to anyone who's interested: My name is Elizabeth, I like music (singing and piano), running, bowling, reading, writing, and a number of other hobbies. I'm majoring in Math Ed with minors in Computer Science and Bible. |

I applied in October, I think. I really can't remember! But I got my acceptance letter a week before Thanksgiving. I didn't jump for joy at first--i had only applied b/c it was an out of state and one of the few my father would let me attend. But once I started looking on their website, I actually DO want to go there! : )
I'm planning on majoring in Information Systems; who knows though if that's what I'll end up keeping! It's scary to think about, though--packing up and moving far away (414 miles to be exact!!!!). I don't think I've ever been more than 30 minutes away from home by myself. So 7 hours is going to be a definite change! But I do feel like God is tugging on my heart to go here, so if it doesn't fall through, then I'll know it was never God's plan for me to go there. : ( I'll be visiting on the CU Friday in March. Anyone else? |

Rebekah,
I totally understand where you're coming from with the nerves about leaving home, I'm going to be 6 hours away from where I live now but i've visited many times and I adore Cedarville which helps with the nerves a lot. If you've never visited before I've got to tell you that when you're there, even if you are just a senior in high school still looking for colleges (I'm assuming you've already passed this stage and have decided on Cedarville) at Cedarville you feel right at home. Every single person I've met there has been incredibly kind and welcoming. What helps me is that I know that everyone there has been through exactly what we're going through now and they can help guide us and I've already begun some really great friendships from the few times I've visited. I hope this helps. ------------------------- Hey, I'm Melanie Morton<BR><BR>intended major: Theater <BR>"All the world's a stage and all the men and women merely players" ---from our good friend Billy Shakespeare<BR><BR>favorite biblical passage: Psalms 23 |

Hi KSmall - I know what you mean about being far away from family. My family are dotted around the globe. Fortunately my brother & his wife are in Michigan and I've got some friends in Ohio...but I've just moved to North America from England and am starting in 2010. It'll be a grand adventure and I'm looking forward to meeting more 'international' students. Are you starting in Fall? Maybe meet you there! :-) :-) :-)
