Hi Jessica,
So sorry about the late reply. I just got the hang of this forum and am now trying to utilize it. I'm what most people call computer illiterate! I plan on transfering this fall also and am completely syked! Right now I'm mostly just mentally prepared to leave. However, I am trying to finish all paper work as it comes in the mail and preparing myself to get a meningitis shot (Yes, it takes a lot to prepare for a shot! Sharp, pointy objects that pierce my flesh just kind of bother me.). Also, I'm starting to look into travel options and prices and deciding what all I need to take, what's important and what not. Seeing as how there are only about six months left, I'd better get cracking. How about you? Any suggestions yourself? ------------------------- SHANE THOMAS Edited: 03/06/2005 at 11:41:12 PM by SHANETMEESE |

Hey Shane,
I too need to get the meningitis shot. i do not enjoy sharp pointy things either! LOL. I am going to start shopping for dorm room stuff a little at a time. so it's not one huge bill. and i'll buy clothes when it gets really close to moving. i'm so ready for CU! i'm prepared to grow spiritually and i'm so excited about that! what school are you transfering from? where do you live? i'm transfering from wright state university-lake campus, it's a community college. and i live about 1.5 hours from CU. pretty close to home so i can go there on the weekends and stuff! i'm majoring in middle childhood education and i'm concentrating in math and history. what is your major? when you get to CU what year will you be? i'm a sophomore right now, but transfering from quarters to semesters will take me down a little and i'll be considered a sophomore, i dont know if it'll be a high sophomore or not. what dorm are you looking at living in? i've requested johnson first, and then mckinney second. i dont really know any girls that are going down there, besides a few entering freshman that i've chatted with. so i'm depending on God to match me up with a great roomate! and since we will both be christians, i dont see any problems! LOL. another reason why i like CU. ------------------------- Love In Christ, Jessica Phil. 4:13 |

Hey Jessica, I’m glad to hear you too are a bit leery about sharp pointy objects. The things we do to appease the moms and stay healthy. What are they doing to us?! In all honesty, I certainly see the importance of getting the shot even if it does mean plunging a foreign body through the skin deep into the muscle tissue and dispensing a dead virus into the blood stream! Bring it on!! This fall I will be transferring to CU as a sophomore from the wonderful state of Washington. I attended Wenatchee Valley College (if you look at a map of Washington State, Wenatchee is located in the middle if it’s even recognized at all). I attended two years and have an AAS degree in Business Management and Accounting. However, I hate business all together and so will be changing my major. I plan to double major in Piano Performance and Composition/Theory. Music is, I feel, what God is calling me to do. Besides God, family and friends, it is something that fills my heart with joy. I have still to audition for admittance into the music department but am enjoying the preparation. I have most of my Gen Eds completed and so am just a credit or two shy of being a junior. Some of my classes I took at WVC were unable to be transferred due to the fact that they were not Christian based. Plus I took a concentration of business classes instead of taking a more well rounded group of courses. But I can say that I am really looking forward to the selection CU offers in this area. Currently, I have been asked to room with a friend I met last year. He lives in Palmer on the hill. I’m really excited to live in the dorms around a bunch of other Christian guys. Have you visited the campus yet? Have you gotten all your finances together? What attracted you to Cedarville? How did you hear about CU? Sorry, it’s hard not to get excited! Just five months left! ------------------------- SHANE THOMAS |

Hey Shane!
I wish I were as close as you! I'm in my second year of college right now, but transitioning from quarters to semesters is what's messing me up. Hopefully I wont be too far behind! I'm trying to find a roomate. I have someone in mind though, and have actually sent out emails, so we'll see if that's what God's has in His plan. I have visited the campus many times. I live 1 and a half hours (at most) away from CU so it's not too bad. I have been on two official visites. Once when castings crowns played, and then when the first adoration tour came through. awesome concert! i also went to a concer there with my youth group, jars of clay. and i've also been to a basketball game (which was awesome!!!) I have gotten SOME of my finances together. But not totally! I'm still praying that God'll provide! When I first went to CU it was for the jars of clay concert, and I just fell in love with the campus because it was sooo well maintained and you could feel the pride that the students had for their school. Then when I first visited, I loved the student chapel and seeing everyone around my age praising the same God, it was awesome. Then I enjoyed sitting through the old testement bible class because of the technology that they incorporate. like he used powerpoints. I'm such a visual person anyways, and it was so awesome to learn like that. And i love technology. A guy at my church is a senior there right now, so I kinda owe it to him for my finding of CU. but God totally brought my church and him into my life for a reason, and CU is one of those for sure! what about you? have you visited? finance? what kind of music do you like? do you read books? hobbies? sorry, i'm just trying to get to know people!!!! tomorrow im going to get some stuff for my dorm room already! like towels and bedspread and stuff!!! ------------------------- Love In Christ, Jessica Phil. 4:13 |

Hey Jessica, I was pretty surprised to find a response after so soon posting my own message. You go girl! And as for being as far as I am in school, let’s just say changing your major midstream isn’t the greatest. Instead of having only two more years to complete a degree, I now have at least three and a half left, that is to say if I take an overload of credits each semester. But these classes are actually of interest to me so will not be so unbearable as the economics and accounting classes I have taken. It should be pretty nice to have family so close to school. I’m afraid I’ll be terribly homesick when I get over there. I’ve never really been on my own and lived with my mom during my two years of college to save on expenses. So to be without someone familiar will certainly be an adjustment. Consider yourself blessed in that matter. I have yet to visit the campus due mainly to finances. I’m trying to save up as much as possible so I do not have to borrow as much in student loans. However, I really want to visit CU later this spring. I know I’ll love the college but I still would like to set foot on campus to get a real sense of it all. I would like to talk with Karisa in person and go to one of the chapel services and possibly some of the classes. But for now, I can quote the informational DVD the school sent me last year! Right now, I have yet to get all my finances in order. I’m still trying to decide which financial institution would best fit my needs. I don’t really know much about student loans so will soon get an education in finance. I’m just trusting the Lord will provide, which really is all we can do. It’s really reassuring to know that we have a caring God who always wants what’s best for us. When it comes to music, I’m a big fan of most music styles. However, I tend to lean more toward classical and movie soundtracks. Pretty boring sounding but I never have to worry about profanity and cursing. I do enjoy listening to the local Christian radio station and have come to really like Michael W. Smith, Jars of Clay, Accappella, Switchfoot, etc. I really enjoy listening to Charlotte Church and Josh Groban too. How about you? Reading is a big hobby. I really enjoy the classics, works from Gaston Lareoux, Alexandre Dumas, William Golding, Oscar Wilde, Robert Louis Stevens, Rudyard Kipling, Bram Stoker, Mary Shelley, etc. I haven’t really read much of the contemporary authors. I like the writing style of the older folk. They knew how to turn a phrase and make it sound beautiful. Do you like reading? What authors do you like most? Piano is by far my favorite hobby. It should since I’ll be majoring in it! I’ve played for almost six years but have been told it comes naturally. My favorite composers are Chopin and Debussy. Probably pretty predictable. I seem to remember you were interested in music classes. What instrument do you play and what sort of music do you like? I also really enjoy the occasional funny movie and quoting it. My best friend and I love quoting movies. However, it’s pretty sad when our entire conversation is nothing but quotes. But we have a blast. What movies do you like to watch? Okay, I see I’m getting a little carried away with this response so will quit while I’m ahead. Have fun tomorrow shopping for you dorm! ------------------------- SHANE THOMAS |

Hey Shane! thanks for responding so quickly! i'm on here everyday believe it or not, whether in between classes or just sitting at home. every day i go on this site and look over a lot of stuff. the message boards of course, the i listen to cdr radio (actually, right now i'm listening to yesterday's chapel), i check out the webcams. If you are on the home page click on current students and it's in the second column. it's so awesome to watch it live, especially the rock climbing wall! it's so cool! i even check the laundry rooms! like they have on the same page, column one, esuds. it shows you what washing and drying machines are open or in use. i told you, i search this thing all the time! lol
Did you recieve your class schedule packet yet for the fall? I started looking over it last night and it was kinda hard because i'm not used to so many choices! my community college only has like 2 offerings for each class! LOL. anyways, when i get that finalized, i'll let you know what classes i'm taking. i know for sure, calculus, humanities, principle of science, *runs to get scheudle*, *back*, phys act and christian living, christian life and thought, spiritual formation, the education profession, prin mathematics I, found social science. I dont know the average amount of clases or credit hours that they take, so i need to email karisa about that. i just got done taking a microeconomics class. it wasn't too bad! LOL I am blessed to live close, so then i can come home when i want to. the longest i've ever been away from home was a week and a half and that was for a mission trip to arkansas. so i'll be homesick too. i'll pray for you that when you get here you wont be home sick. *writes down* I have meet with karisa in person once too and she is so awesome. i've sent her a ton of emails too! LOL i can quote the dorm tour on the dvd and some other things as well. i watch that dvd a lot too! i love it. very nice. the guys dorm tour was the best! LOL I know i'll have to take loans out but i'd rather take a loan out on my education than like a car or something you know. I love your music tastes! LOL. i have actually burned on a cd and on my itunes the lion king and beauty and the beast. i also have a walk to remember soundtrack. i love soundtracks. i enjoy contemporary christian music. some of the bands are: sanctus real (huge fan of), toby mac, tait, newsboys, newsong, rebecca st james, hawk nelson, pillar, kutless, basically everyone except relient k and people that scream their heads off. my favorite praise and worship leader is defintially chris tomlin!!! I love to read christian romance books. i dont read books that make me think too much. lol. just nice books that i can lounge around and read. I will have so many books when i'm down at CU that i'm afraid i'll have to cut back and then come home and get some more lol. my favorite authors are lori wick and nicolas sparks. You must have confused me for someone else, i'm not taking music classes! LOL but that's okay, i get people messed up too because i'm trying to get to know so many people! LOL anyways, i do enjoy music. i like to listen to it more than playing it. i was in band in high school. i played the trumpet. i was in pit orchestra, jazz band, pep band, marching band, and concert band. i loved it. I love movies! i have a ton of dvds and i'm organizing them into like a cd binder so i can take them down to cu. i have a laptop that plays dvds so that'll be nice. i watch "chickflick" movies. my favorite movie is a walk to remember, then i like, the notebook, ever after, never been kissed, (old time movies...) look who's talking one, too, and now, and i enjoy full house season one on dvd! i also watch old movies that i grew up on such as drop dead fred, free willy, (i love killer whales!), little monsters, and a bunch more! LOL I will have fun shopping for dorm stuff! i'm so excited! what movies do you watch? do you have any animals? brothers sisters? big family? favorite vacation spot? what dorm are you interested in living in? what classes are you taking in the fall? ummm, umm, thinking of more questions. lol. what do you do in your free time? what made you want to come to cu? that's all i can think for now. you can ask me more questions. sorry! LOL anyways, thanks for responding and sorry if i'm asking you the same questions over again! LOL ------------------------- Love In Christ, Jessica Phil. 4:13 |

Hey Jessica, How was your shopping spree? I wanted to respond sooner, in fact it was all I could think about yesterday, but couldn’t find the time to get on the Internet. I feel like I’ve been on this discussion forum all day, every day. It’s addicting…but so much fun! Sorry about the music thing. I must be thinking of someone else though I don’t remember whom. Sad! Okay, Jessica, you’re a girl after my own heart. I love your taste in music, especially Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King. When I read that, I instinctively cried out, "Yes!" You can’t go wrong with Disney music, especially when it’s composed by Alan Menken/Howard Ashman and Hans Zimmer. So I’m a nut for soundtracks! Some of my favorite composers for the big screen are John Williams, James Horner, John Debney, Danny Elfman, Alan Menken, Alan Sylvestri, and many more. Since I’m interested in orchestrating someday, I find it fascinating to listen for personal style. If you listen really close to a few measures, you can guess who the composer is. Sad! Great idea, by the way, about storing your DVDs. I was wondering how to get mine over to Ohio. I’m a big fan of action movies, of course…I’m a guy! But every now and then, probably thanks to my mom and sister, the occasional chic flick is great. Movies like Ever After, A Walk to Remember, The Wedding Planner, How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, Anna and the King are all really good. Pretty much any movie with a good plot, some intrigue, and plenty of action I enjoy watching. But let’s not forget about comedy. I love Chris Farley and David Spade movies (ie Black Sheep, Tommy Boy, etc.). They have some great lines in them! "Oh! I’ve interrupted happy time…Shut up, Richard." "Well…your head has a thick candy shell." My best friend and I can quote pretty much both movies from start to finish. Family? I suppose you might say I have a big family. There’s five of us not including in-laws. I have two older brothers and an older sister. Yes, I am the baby and loving it! My older siblings are all out of college and are, therefore, no longer at home. It’s just Mom and me. My oldest brother and his wife live in Bellingham, Washington, while my second oldest brother and his wife live in Tampa, Florida. My sister currently lives in Bellingham but will soon be moving to Tampa. And pretty soon I’ll be off to Ohio! I can’t wait! How about you? Do you have any siblings? Vacation spot? My favorite vacation spot would have to be somewhere on the West Coast, probably the coast of Oregon. Pretty general, huh? I love the water and boats. My uncle was once a submariner and with his stories of heroics, has passed down a love for the ocean and the Navy. Everything seems to be magnified when you’re near the ocean. The sunsets are more beautiful, the weather is cooler, there’s more rain (I love the rain)…there’s just too many things. What about you? Do you have a favorite vacation spot? I’m really anxious to get over to Cedarville. Since the first time I watched the informational video my pastor’s daughter gave me, I knew that CU was where God was directing me. I had been looking at other Christian colleges but could not find one that offered what I wanted. Most of them were strictly seminary schools, and I don’t feel called to preach. Others were so small they couldn’t offer much and their campus consisted merely of four buildings. I was getting pretty discouraged and was seriously looking into a secular state school but hated the thought of not being around people of like faith. I’ve seen the influence a secular school has and didn’t want to be taught a bunch of garbage that was going to diminish my faith. So I’m very thankful God is directing me to CU. They offer exactly what I want. The school, itself, is emaculate and the students I’ve met actually have a genuine love for God. There literally is too much about CU that I love. I have yet to receive my course schedule but will certainly let you know what classes I’m taking. The Bible classes should be really interesting. So far, I’m planning on staying on the Hill in Palmer. That’s where my prospective roommate lives now. I’m still waiting to know for sure. Where do you want to stay? Are you looking to live in a suite or the hall dorms? Do you play any sports? What are your hobbies? What activities do you want to get involved in at CU? Well that’s a start. I’m really excited to someday meet you. Perhaps we’ll be in the same small group come Getting Started Weekend! Exciting! ------------------------- SHANE THOMAS |

hey shane!!!
my shopping spree was awesome!!!! like everything i got matches! i got bedding, hangers (lime green, purple and blue to match my bedding), laundry basket, under bed container, rug (that matches my bedding), and a ton more! i'm so excited! i got it all at wally world and my trusty discount was handy! LOL I come on here all the time. and i'm disappointed when i dont see new posts! so i just search around the site! LOL. I'm so happy that you like that kinda music! that's so awesome! you're a true man lol, for listening to beauty and the beast! i love disney and i want to get beauty and the beast on dvd sooo bad! If you want, give me your email and i can send you pictures of what i did with my dvds. it's really cool. i love it. i'm very creative if i do say so myself! Some of the comedies that I watch include a lot of Jim Carey (Liar Liar, Dumb and Dumber for sure!!!) I honestly have never seen tommy boy! LOL. dont throw anything at me! hehe. I donna, I watch too many movies to remember them all. But i love movies and music. I have an older brother, two younger sisters (who happen to both be my best friends) my mom and dad. I also have a sister in law. My parents, sisters and I live together and my brother and his wife actually live next door! We live on a dairy farm and my brother helps out. The farthest away one of my family members lives is 45 min. and she's only half an hour from CU. so i'm really blessed to have my family close. The farthest west i've been is arkansas. so i dont really know what the west coast looks like, though i'd love to go to california and like mt rushmore (sp) and places like that. I looooove to travel by car! it's so much fun! i've never been in an airplane actually! lol. my favorite vacation place is definitally florida, the beach, disney, and it's so pretty. i also like to go to gatlinburg tenn in the winter time. that's always fun. i love to travel, i just dont do it that often. so when i'm a teacher, the entire summer i'd love to just travel around the U.S. I cannot wait to transfer to CU. the college i'm at right now is so liberal. i dont like it at all and it's really wearing on my faith! "There literally is too much about CU that I love." that's exactly how i feel! i'm just sooo excited! I want to stay in either johnson or mckinney. either would be fine. i like the hall dorms. i'm not a huge socialite, but i enjoy getting to know a few people and get to know them really well. I'm not in any sports, though i do enjoy playing volleyball and swimming. i'm not what you would call the "athletic" type if ya know what i mean. lol. when i get to CU i'd love to get invovled with the yearbook. it's like electronic scrapbooking! and i love to scrapbook! i have to look over the ministries that are offered and pray about those big time because i want God to lead me to where i'm supposed to be. what about you? what do you want to get involved in? So are you going to visit the campus before august? if not, then i guess we will meet on getting started weekend. i'm so excited!!!! i cannot think of any more questions for you right now. i'm really tired. i just got off work and i have to be in early again tomorrow! so we'll see how it goes! i'll post some questions when i think of some!! or you can ask me more! ------------------------- Love In Christ, Jessica Phil. 4:13 |

also shane, i think that transfer students have their own separate orientation. i think that might be at a different time than getting started, but i'm not positive. but i'm pretty sure they have orientation for just transfer students, since we're in the same boat.

lol, thanks for that last post! it was kinda hard to read, but i got the hang of it. if you copy and paste it shouldn't do that though. maybe i should type this in a word document to get rid of the spelling errors, i'm horrible at spelling! and english in general! okay, i'll reply to what you've said and i'll say some more:
haha, i like the whole hey jessica, office something smiley face, office. niiiice! i was confused right there! but it's okay that you're computer handicapped. my parents are too, so i understand! hehe i loooove to decorate! so i like things to match and be pretty. if you're gonna buy stuff, make it match! my clothes, right now, dont match lol. but when i go to CU i'm gonna have to buy a whole new wardrobe because i have like no dress clothes and stuff like that. if you're just gonna buy white everything, i trust you'll bring at least 50 gallons of bleach with you! lol that's so awesome that after you moved you feel at peace and not burdened. you've definitally done what the Lord wanted you to do. i've only moved once in my life and that was only a mile. actually, my parents just swapped housed with my grandparents so we could live right on the farm and my dad could get to the cows quicker. that was about 7 years ago? maybe. i dont really remember! i love my family so much! i'm glad i'm close to them, but i wish i could be even closer. i have a lot of aunts and uncles too. and cousins, all of them younger. they are cuties though, all of them. I literally laughed out loud when you said that "there's always someone around to talk to or play with." ya, me and my younger sister always play Barbie together! it's so much fun! lol. no really, our "playing" is basically hanging out and stuff. Alfalfa? we just call it hay! LOL. i was off work today so i actually got the priveldge of milking cows tonight! so much fun! lol not really, it's not bad, just when it's cold and i'd rather be in a warm house! LOL I have been so blessed, i now realize, to have grown up on a farm. as kids my sisters and i would always play outside and explore in the woods behind our house and it was just so much fun to play with the cows and stuff. and the work discipline that i've gotten over the years is showing! i work at wal-mart as a cashier and there are kids my age that just dont work! and i dont know why. it's not hard, but i guess i have a stronger background working. When you get over here, there's not really too much excitement. well, amusment parks, those are fun. like cedar point and kings island. great places. i guess there's stuff to do here. i'm just so used to it. i would looooove to go to california. or somewhere on the west coast where you can see killer whales in the ocean. i absolutely looove killer whales and would love to see them in the wild! I promise you i will watch tommy boy before i get to CU. i promise! i'll rent it and watch it! i hope to get involved in a lot of things at CU also. I cannot wait! i hope that God leads me to an awesome ministry where i can touch people's lives too. About visting CU, it doesn't take a lot for me to plan, i just have to ask off work. because i dont really have to worry about travel and all that jazz. could you imagine us on the campus together just talking about how excited we are? it would be in the summer so maybe it wouldn't be too busy, then people wouldn't think we're weird! i do want to visit the campus one more time before i go down though. just to tour the campus again and talk with karisa about differnent things, and maybe even financial aid. I haven't found a roomate yet, but i am emailing a girl (she emailed me to start with) and was wondering if i was interested. so we are gonna pray about it and see what happens. i have a good feeling about it though. i think they'll tell us at the end of July what dorm we are staying in. i really am looking at mckinney more than johson now. they are really both the same though. I chose this style of dorm because i like the idea of the hall dorms better, and the rooms are a little bigger. also i like the co-ed lounge area where they have like pool tables and stuff like that. very nice! financial aid. oh boy! LOL. well, i have recieved some grants from the government and also a sub loan which i already have now for the school i'm going to and it's through US bank. i chose US bank because i do all of my banking through them anyways, and i'm glad CU has a US bank atm! i am looking at scholarships and i still have to find more money! a lot more! but God will provide! It's okay if it takes you a while to reply. i understand. starting tomorrow i have to work 8 hour days till saturday. and then i start up with school again! yay! only one more quarter! i have your email though and have added you to my msn. i check my email all the time. so if you ever want to use email too you can. my email adress is Jesusfrk5@hotmail.com well, i'm off to bed. have a great rest of your night and God bless you! ------------------------- Love In Christ, Jessica Phil. 4:13 |

Well hello Jessica,
I thought I'd start out different than usual. You know what they say; variety is the spice of life! I'm not exactly sure what that means but it sounded good. Anyhoo, are you finding it hard to keep from getting excited? The very thought or mention of school sends me into a fit of excitement and anticipation. I'm so ready to finally go off to school. I almost made it to CU last year but could not find the financing to go. Looking back, I can clearly see that God did not want me over there. It just wasn't the right time. But this year, all is falling into place. I'm so excited! Farms really are the best places for kids to grow up. There really is no limit to a child's imagination while frolicking freely through the open alfalfa fields (or cow pastures...just be careful where you step!). I have fond memories of changing water with my dad, riding horses, playing with the dogs, tormenting the chickens, being chased by turkeys, building forts with my best bud. Those were the good ol' days. Now, I've become the city boy with a hint of rustic charm. Wow! I never thought I would describe myself like that! Let's change the subject shall we... I wish I was closer to my family. My siblings and I have a very close relationship. Since we all grew up on the "farm" with no TV or modern conveniences like running water, electricity, a roof...just kidding...we had to entertain ourselves. We are all about two years apart so we've shared most experiences. However, now we're scattered to the four winds and hardly get together except for the major holidays and sometimes not even that. But we still e-mail and talk on the phone. Needless to say, Jessica, cherish your family. I hate to cut this short but my work day is over. As always, Jessica, it has been fun replying to your message. Have a good night. Shane ------------------------- SHANE THOMAS |

hey shane, once again i'll be quick to reply before i head off to bed. i'm sooooo excited! i cannot waaaaait to go to CU! i've been waiting for two years! after spring quarter, i'm sooo going to be hyper and even more excited! i know that the Lord will have many many opportunites and open many doors in my life while im down there and will experience even more things. i cannot wait!
the only fond memories i have had with my dad is riding in the tractor with him, and it was always really bumpy! LOL. but ya, the whole baling hay (not alfalfa! LOL) and straw and unloading it into the barns....those were the good old days. i really love the time i spent with my grandma on the farm. but i wont talk about that now because it's late and i'll start crying even though it's been four years....anyways. i'm so funny when i'm in the city. after my youth group got done with our week long mission trip in philly my youth pastor surprised us by taking us to NYC for the day and i'm just like freaking out! lol. my friend and i are like look at all the big buildings and stuff like that. and ohhh! a taxi cab! i even took pictures of them! LOL. i'm really into the whole country thing! LOL. um, i dont really have much more to say and my brain is fried from work and all. i'll ask some questions and you can reply to them! sound like fun? OKAY! lol what are you favorite praise and worship songs? when did you become a christian? what's your favorite food? when you get to CU, what's the first thing you're going to do? (this should be funny!) do you have any friends? are they in school? what do you hope for your future to be? i know these are indepth questions, so feel free to take your time. i figured i'd ask more intersting ones than like, what's your favorite color and stuff. so ya, answer those and i'll feed off your reply. also feel free to email me. i check that all the time as i do this. well, i'm headed to bed. it'll prolly what, 6 in washington? it's 11:39 here in ohio. definitally time for bed. oh ya, and i have to play barbie with my sister before we go to sleep, you know, just so we can play together! Hi, I know that this reply is super late since the date you posted the original message, but I'm planning on transferring to CU in the fall of 05 as well. I'll be a sophomore next school year and was just browsing the discussion forum (that sounds so nerdy!) and thought I'd say hello to a fellow transfer. I'm so excited! Hope to talk to you.....
Peace,
Becky

Yay for quick replies, Jessica!! Actually, as far as choosing all things Cedarville, I haven't been able to do that yet. This year has been super hectic for me with the whole transition of high school to college (praise God that it hasn't been hard) and being involved in things at school. Only at the beginning of this year has God continually been tugging at my heart and directing me towards transferring so I'm super duper behind in the process; I haven't even officially been accepted yet! (sheepish grin.) But I'm trying my best to be on top of things: my family is helping me out with sending everything in as quickly as possible and my CU counselor doesn't seem to be to worried. I trust that everything will work out according to God's plan in the end. I really struggled with transferring; there are pros and cons to everything, I guess. But the main reason is because my major is getting a little tweak when I transfer. I'm a communications major right now, and when I visited in Jan. I talked with Karisa about a missiology major and that's it. Now I'm planning on majoring in Organizational Communications and minoring in the TESOL program. I'm absolutely IN LOVE with going overseas and working with a missions org. teaching english to others there. Whether I'm put in a missions field or a business field in the end, I'm certain that this is the area to which God has directed my passions.
Whew! That was long. But which dorm do you personally like? I guess I don't know too too much about the "tricks" of living at Cedarville. I know a few freshmen there, but no upperclassmen. Talk to you soon
Peace

OOH, totally have another question. How did you send your SAT scores to CU? My scores are so out of date since I haven't been in high school for a year. I wouldn't know how to send "official" ones. lol.
Thanks
