Well some people that love Macs like myself find that on occasion they need to use windows software that requires lots of memory and graphics power aka Solidworks. As you can see I am an Engineer, anyways here are some things Ive learned along the way. 

1). You cannot put Windows7 64-bit on any computer older than mid-2008 because there is no hardware support. However you may install the 32-bit version.

2). When installing Windows7 you need to install windows XP first (aka need a product key and disk).

3). Its always better to format your Windows side as NTFS for better security and performance.

One additional note, if you are using a newer Mac the newest version of VMWare fusion will run Window 7 64-bit.  This can be accomplished without any trouble IF you have an appropriate amount of RAM to dedicate. 

I am currently testing and building VM Ware images of Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise.  It runs well if you dedicate at least 2 GB of RAM to the task without affecting the Mac itself.

Whats even more important to remember is that you should always back up your computer before installing boot camp. Things have and can go wrong.

Edit: By backing up, I mean storing your data on external harddrive, through Time Machine.
