I applied to Cedarville about a month ago and I gave my recommendation forms to my pastor and guidance counselor but my school is a little crazy right now and I doubt my counselor will be filling it out any time soon. Will Cedarville throw out my application? I'm not sure if I should be hounding my counselor about this or not.

Hey Beky, I'm a freshman at CU right now, so hopefully I remember this process since I did it just a year ago. I'm pretty sure that Cedarville won't even look at your application until it's "complete," which means the application, ACT or SAT scores, transcript, and both recommendations. I doubt they'll throw it out for quite a while, but I would still bug your counselor about it so you can get that complete soon and have them take a look at it.

Beky:
Matt is correct. We wait until we receive all necessary pieces. Of course, we'll call you a few times and remind you, but we won't "throw out your application."
