Cedarville University

I'm coming into CU in the fall as a transferring sophmore! I am super excited to be going to CU, I've worked incredibly hard to get in and by the grace of God he helped make it happen.

My question is, is it hard for first year students to get into a hall? I like the hall dorms a lot better than the unit style because the rooms are bigger, and they just seen roomier (is that a word? haha) anyways, thanks in advance for the help!

As far as the hall issue, it depends on the hall you want. I would advise not trying to get into Murphy, since that's mostly full already. However, the other dorms aren't as full, so you have a pretty good chance of getting into a hall Willets would probably be the easiest, since it currently has the most openings available. Believe it or not, many incoming students seem to prefer the unit style housing, so you won't have nearly as much "competition" for a room I personally don't have much experience with the halls (I lived in a unit this past year lol), but I hope this helps!

I guess your top three best chances of getting into a hall (as of now) would be:
1. Willets
2. Faith
3. Johnson

That actually helps a lot because my top three choices was Murphy, Willetts and Faith! Choosing housing doesn't open for me until the 23rd of this month though and I am still searching for a roomie! lol. I am so excited to be attending CU, hopefully I'll see you on campus and we'll get to meet in person! Thanks for the help!
