I was recently notified that as a National Merit Semi-Finalist I will receive the National Scholar Award.  I also received a packet to apply for a Leadership Scholarship.  I know from reading through the Cedarville info that the Cedarville Scholar Award may not be combined with a Leadership Scholarship, but could find no similar information regarding the National Scholar Award.  Should I complete the Leadership Scholarship application or as a National Scholar Award receipient am I no longer eligible?

Thank you for your help.

David, Great work! You will receive the $8,000 National Scholar award. You can not combine the CU Scholar award and the National Scholar award. However, you may still combine another leadership scholarship with the national scholar award. If you were to apply for leadership and be granted the CU Scholar award, that would trump your NS award since the CU Scholar award is more money. Completely confused yet? :-) Have a great Christmas!
