I have recieved my financial aid package for my freshman year, and looking at finances, I discovered that I have enough money to pay for the first two years of college, but after that, I'm out. I am completely responsible for paying for college, and if don't have enough money to go through college and end up practically debt free, i don't go. I was wondering if there is more financial aid/scholarship money available once I complete my freshmen year (not counting the money they've already told me about). Also, what other ways are there available for financing my education? Would it be possible to find a job at CU even though I am not qualified for work-study?

Erica,
Congratulations, God has been very gracious and generous to you. To answer your questions, First you can always work through any of the Financial Aid scholarship data bases. It is also possible for you to work on campus at any time. We have over 1400 students working on campus each year. I can always find you a job. CU offers a need based scholarship for upper classmen. The scholarship requires a GPA of 3.5 and the student must demonstrate need. So, to answer your question, yes there are various ways to pay for your education. Fred |
