Hi,
I've just applied to Cedarville University from Seoul Foreign School in South Korea (so I'm not sure if my application has arrived in Ohio yet), but I've got a couple of questions regarding financial aid: a) Do I have to submit the FAFSA in order to apply for other University Scholarships such as the Academic or Leadership Scholarships? b) Do I apply for those other scholarships only after I have been admitted to Cedarville or can I turn them in right away? Thanks! -Stephanie Small |

Stephanie,
To answer your questions, 1. No, it is not required of you to complete the FAFSA in order to receive our Academic or Leadership grants. However it may be helpful for other grants, student employment or loans. Keep in mind that the first priority deadline for the Leadership scholarships is Jan 15. You can submit an electronic application. 2. There is not an application for the Academic scholarships. As soon as we get your High School transcript and your ACT/SAT test scores we can determine what scholarship you are eligible to recieve. The Leadership scholarship needs to be completed before Jan 15. |
