I was wondering if you only used the composite score to determine the score for financial aid purposes or if you took the highest of each of the subscores.  I took the ACT twice and got 30 both times but with the higher score in each area i would have a 32.  I was wondering because i'm interested in the Cedarville Scholar Award.  Also I'd like more information on the Gray-Paxson Scholarship

We take the highest composite score.  We do not combine scores taken on separate days.

The Grey-Paxon award is now only a reward for upper-classmen.  This is effective this year so it has been a recent change.  The information you are receiving now should not have that scholarship listed.

I just recently got accepted to Cedarville, and now I am looking at potential scholarships. However, I didnt do so well on my ACT's, (but my gpa is a 3.7) so the scholarships Id like to apply for, I know I wouldnt revieve because of my score. I plan on taking it again in February, but by then, will it be too late to apply for scholarships? Thank you!

Hey! I am kind of in the same boat as you. I have a 3.8 GPA and have gotten a 23 both times I took the ACT. I actually registered just last night for the February ACT. I am hoping for at least a 25 so I can get at least $1,000/year. Feel free to write baclk or email me at zsiebert@gmail.com or aim screename is bballseebs23. Talk to you soon!
