My name is Lexus, and I am a upcoming Freshman in Cedarville.
and I'm super excited!
I am majoring in Criminal Justice.
God has done wonders and It's only by His grace I am going.

NEEDED; RUNNING BUDDY.

Now to get to the point, I am 18 and a very... Overexuberant person.
Meaning I like to be loud.
I have been in track as long as I can remember; It's kind of my life besides God and having fun.
I am a sporty person, meaning I love anything from tackle football to soccor.
But I'm not one of those tough and masculine chicks. :o
I love watching late night movies on weekends and eating butter popcorn.
I'm the kind of girl you'd see making 'coning' videos in Walmart, or riding the little toy bikes in Target... Sad I know, but you only live once. :x
I'm from Chicago Illinois and it's going to be a major change from the Big city to Ohio.
I love to listen to just about anything, especially dancing around while the music is on. A favorite band of mine is Explosions in the sky. Anything includes Japanese music, so I am cultured haha.
I am not afraid of anything really and will try everything once. I have many many stories to tell from my years of pranking at my H.S. and midnight grave runs haha. Not as scary as they sound.
I took two years of Chinese, and Spanish, I know a little French and Japanese.

IS BRINGING a Nuwave over! xD If you don't know what that is then listen carefully.
It can literally make anything from Banana bread, to roast beef, to crunchy bacon and eggs. And it's all infrared so you can watch your food cook. Plus it's portable!@
My favorite color is green so if you don't mind me decorating with stuff we can agree on.
I do not like the simpleness of the bland dorms. -__-
I'm not sure about dorm halls, but I'll go look that up. I'm open to any dorm I guess.
Didn't know you could request dorms either haha.

I am a writer of peoms, music, and stories. God knows how many I have written but I like to spend my days at the library or Borders reading in the corner with my chrome bookbag. *Total Nerd*
I sing anywhere.. The shower, the train, the park.. Literally. And I don't sound like a dying moose so it's ok. No worries their.
I play the guitar and piano, and if you touch my guitar without asking I will not hesitate to hold back.. I'll prob just make a loud gasp and shrug my shoulders. >.<

I come from a single parent household so keeping things clean is a necessity, but trust me, I am one of thee cleanesty/laziest person you will meet. I keep my room clean... Somewhat haha. I'm not a slob though and I do NOT SNORE.. But I grind my teeth, and I have something for that just an FYI. I take daily medicines, just to let you so for any of you who freak when people are taking meds. *I know a few like that*

Hi everyone

My name is Rachel Clevenger and I love God with all my heart, mind, body, and soul. I give him all the praise, honor, and glory for getting me into Cedarville. The journey has been tough, I applied last year and was not accepted. I prayed for a year that if it was the Lord's will that he would open the door and he did! I will be seeing you all next fall woo hoo!

Anyways I am 21 years old and am currently attending Wayne College, I will be coming into CU as a transferring Sophmore.

Interesting things about me:

1. I am a Broadcasting and Digital Media major, I enjoy making short videos for events and things but cannot wait to learn how to make movies!

2. Family is important to me, my parents are my world. I am a daddy's girl lol. He's a pastor so that makes me proud. You will probably hear me talking to them a lot!

3. I am a little shy when first meeting people, but I warm up quickly and am an outgoing and fun person to talk to.

4. I'm not a super sporty person, but I REALLY want to get in shape and tone up. So I do like to workout. If I could get a roomate that wouldn't mind hitting the gym with me, that'd be awesome. It's a good stress reliever too!

5. I am primarily academically focused, but am totally down for having fun! Study sessions with my roomie would be awesome

6. I am a social person and make friends quickly, I don't want to be sooo stuck in my books that I dont have any fun or make any friends. I'd really like to become close friends with my roomate and be able to turn to her about anything

7. I love music! I enjoy casting crowns, relient k, david crowder band, skillet, carrie underwood, taylor swift. I basically like any contemporary genre of music besides classical and metal.

8. I don't go to bed late and I don't go to bed early either. I like to be asleep by 10:30ish- 11 at the latest. If I am really tired though I sometimes crash around 9. Thats on nights I have a long day of classes ahead of me. On the weekends I may go to bed a little later but it wont be later than 1am. And if you go to bed fairly early and I'm still up I will respect that and either spend some quite time with God or just go ahead and go to bed myself so no worries there.

9. I love riding horses, I use to own some but we had to sell because we didn't have any land and it was too expensive to board them.

10. I'm not a messy person but also not a neat freak, I like to keep orginized

First of all, I'd like to say I'm a brony (fan of My little Pony), I have been ever since I was 2 (G1), so i's part of my life (It's very evident when you meet me). I'm a furry and I also love DBZ.

I was born and raised in Spain, so I speak Spanish fluently, and I also speak some German.

I'm unsure of my Major, though I have some ideas, like Electrical Engineering or Graphic Design.

I'm easy to get along with, I'm very friendly.

I love animals very much, especially horses and fennec foxes.

Hey everyone! Congrats on being accepted into Cedarville University! It's going to be one of the most amazing, challenging, and rewarding processes you'll ever go through

I figured I'd just introduce myself a little bit and give y'all some tips for coming here! I know talking to some current students really helped me out last year. My name is Taylor, and I will be a sophomore Nursing major next year! I'm from Pittsburgh, PA and my hobbies include shopping (you can tell I'm a girl, huh?), playing piano, and just having fun with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ!

Now for some pointers. Bear in mind that this is just coming from my experience, and you in no way HAVE to follow these lol.
1. I would highly recommend getting involved in at least 1 org on campus, but don't get carried away! I'm currently a member of the OneVoice gospel choir and a volunteer group that helps out nurses at a local hospital. Explore your opportunities, and don't be afraid to try something new!
2. If you can, sign up for a discipleship group during the Involvement Fair. It really helps to have fellow students around you who know what you're going through.
3. NEVER, and I mean NEVER use a tray in Chuck's. EVER.
4. Don't be stressed if you're looking for a relationship with someone and you end up single for a while. I went through the same thing, and I'm still single lol
5. Be aware that the weather here is VERY bipolar.
6. Don't be afraid of your profs! The majority of them are super nice, and are willing to help you out at any time!
7. Do your best to go to chapel. I know 5 days a week is a lot, but it really is rewarding!
8. You're going to have to go to most of your classes. No, you will not be required to go to every single class, but I wouldn't recommend missing any. You never know when a prof is going to mention something said in class on an exam!
9. Don't freak out about your grades if they aren't what you want them to be right away! It's a big adjustment going from high school to college, so hang in there!
10. BE YOURSELF!! I cannot emphasize this enough!

Hi, my name is Belinda Darkwah and I plan to major in Pre-Pharmacy this coming fall at Cedarville! I super excited to go to Cedarville because I feel this is where God is calling me to be and the 'Ville is the only place I can see myself, being myself. I am the oldest of four kids and both my parents came from Ghana, West Africa. One cool fact about me is that my sister, Harriet and I were both born in Nagaski, Japan. I love to travel and learn about new cultures because I feel I come from a culturally diverse background. I love to have fun and making people laugh is a mission I have in life. I'm a funny, silly person who has learned over the years that life is too short to not enjoy the grace that God has given us, through his son Jesus Christ. I love helping people with anything because I feel that is the ultimate way to show the love I have for them. I am not a messy person, but I'm not a clean freak either. I don't mind which dorm I stay in, just as long as I can grew with the girls around me. I don't usually stay up late if I don't have to because Belinda loves her sleep.

Overall, I am a pretty laid-back person. I get along with everyone and I don't care who you are, you are a great and beautiful child of god. I want a roommate that I can grow in Christ with and one who I can have deep, personal conversations with. I want us to hangout and have girls night out ocassionally and meet new people together. Also, to have bible studies with and laugh and overall have an amazing time in this wonderful place called Cedarville. I don't mind if you are messy, just make sure you clean up after yourself. Since I usually don't stay up late, please be able to respect when I sleep and I will do the same for you. I want us to experience everything at Cedarville together, but also have time with other friends. Also, an accountability partner both spiritually and physicallly becuase I have struggled with my weight for a very long time and I want to stay healthy and fit in college. I want to be able to lift you up and be there for you in anyway possible because you are my sister in Christ. I will always be there for you! You are beautifully and wonderfully made and I hope I don't sound too cheesy, demanding, or desperate; I just want to have an awesomw time at Cedarville.

Hi, I'm Vivian. I will be a freshman in fall of 2012. I am looking for a roommate. I'm from the Cleveland area, so kind of a city girl, but I love the country too. To start out, I will major in Studio Art, and minor in Psychology.

Things I like (5=important to me for you to have this too. 1=not so much):

1. God. I know it might sound kinda funny, seeing as Cedarville is a Christian school and all, but I want my roomate to be serious about her faith. I want to be able to talk about Him and grow in Him while were in college. This is a 5.

2. Organization. I am fairly organized, and I want my roomie to be at least willing to make an effort to keep the place somewht clean and neat. This is a 5.

3. Art (hence the major hahah). I don't care if you like to do art or not, doesn't matter to me, just letting you know I do:) And I like music, don't play anything, just like to sing every now and then, and listen to it. This is a 1.

4. Pretty stuff. I plan on decorating the room somehow. I want it to be happy, fun and bright. Love decorating things, and DIYing. This is a 2.

5. Healthy eating. Don't get me wrong..I LOVE chocalate, candy, and much more. I want to take steps to intentionally avoid the freshman 15. So please don't tempt me with lots of sweet stuff and junky stuff :) This is a 3.

Things I don't like(5=really important that you don't do this to be my roomate. 1=don't care):

1. music/TV playing while I'm trying to sleep. I am a pretty light sleeper, so I'm not one of those who can just fall alseep while the TV's on. I can't live with someone who needs the TV's background noise on all the time. Sorry. This is a 5.

2. The top bunk. Kinda scared of heights. This is a 3.

Few more random facts:

I am really outgoing, and friendly, but I'm not a loud person. I like loud people and quiet people alike.

I am a pretty good student, so I plan on spending a good amount of time studying/school work.

I usually go to be around 10 to 10:30. Willing to push that back a little if need be, but I can't be a 1am-er or 2am-er. As long as you can be quiet, don't care if you like to stay up late.

Like sports, but not super sporty. Would be cool to find a running partner at Cedarville.

Hi everyone! My name is Lindsey Pfeifer and I will be majoring in Music, concentrating on piano pedagogy (learning to give piano lessons) at Cedarville. I have taken piano lessons since kindergarten and I love it! I'm planning to get my masters in music therapy after getting my undergrad.
I go to a small country school and live on a dairy farm but I'm the farthest thing from a country hick-- I don't like country music and to be truthful I don't know how to drive a tractor. I love Christian contemporary music like Britt Nicole and Sanctus Real and Chris Tomlin.
I am very close to my family so leaving them is probably gonna be the hardest thing about going to college. But I'm still really looking forward to college and meeting new friends even though it will take some adjustment at first.
I'd love to do Bible study with my roommate, I think that's a great way to build a friendship and that's one of the reasons I chose Cedarville. I've felt for a while that that's where God is leading me and I'm looking forward to seeing what He has in store for me in the next four years!

Hello, my name is Kati Renee McCrone. I am 18 (19 by August) and I am homeschooled. Regardless of the stigma I want you all to know that I have been socialized! LOL! Anyways... I run a Llama farm (llamas are a fiber bearing mammal that is larger than an alpaca and both only spit at humans if they have been abused)

I plan on my first year getting the majority of my gen eds in as I want to either major in Business (Finance, Management, and Marketing; plus the one year Bible program) or Biology (Molecular and Cellular Biology; plus the comprehensive Bible major) and I don't want to take the wrong math/science courses! And yes you read that right I will be taking around 21 credit hours a semester!!!! At the moment I am leaning towards the Business route...

After visiting again I changed my mind to wanting to room in Faith!

My dad died when I was 15 and I am still very broken from it and to be my roommate you will have to understand that when I am just not myself that I am most likely not upset with you. It would also be nice if you liked me and would help me at that time! I would also like to do a Bible study with my roommate so that we can grow close to God and each other...

I tend to be very outgoing. I think I am funny and have a good sense of humor but sometimes I get the impression that most people think that I have a warped sense of humor. (Maybe that is because I am a weaver) I like to think that I am organized and clean but some days it seems like that is just in my head! I love Christian Music, my favs are hymns/gospel, but I like to listen to Contemporary Christian music as well.

I have a warped sleep schedule as I have Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder which basically means that if left to myself I would go to bed at 4 am and wake up at noon! So I will have to work hard to adjust and I would like a roommate who is willing to help me with that! To adjust I will need to go to bed the same time every night! Also both my parents are cranky morning people and I have followed in their footsteps...

Also I spin (make yarn, not sit on a stationary bike, not that I am opposed...) and will be pursuing a Master Spinner Certificate and so if you are allergic to (being around them not wearing them): sheep, goats, or rabbits I am not likely the roommate for you...

I hope that this has scared off everyone that God doesn't want to be my roommate! LOL

Hi everyone! I'm Olivia Collene and I'm probably going to major in Social Work (I change my mind a lot, so we'll see how it goes). I also go by nicknames, but I don't have a preference; you can call me by anything really. I want to join Alpha Sigma Lambda (ASL) next year because I've always been fascinated by sign language, and I want to learn!
I am extremely shy around people I don't know, so if you want to be roomates be warned that I will probably be a nervous wreck until I get to know you. I am not by any means organized, but I do like things clean (as in not smelly or gross). I don't have a favorite color, so I won't be picky about the room. I usually go to bed based on when everyone else does because I don't like to stay up on my own or go to bed if there's something more interesting to do.
I would love to do "roomie dates" for fun, and I'm not very picky about much; if there's anything you want to do, I'd probably be game. Hey all!

My name is Kevin Fraaken and I'm a Biology Major and I am hoping to live in Carr or Lawlor. I will throw some details about myself in so you get to know a little about me off the bat. I currently work at Hawknet Computing LTD a gaming computer company based in Britain with over 25,000 users, my title is administrator, but outside the company CEO is the closest definition. I currently spend my free time between Debate(Public forum), volunteering for my church's tech team, and administrating servers and forums. I enjoy gaming, I wont list it all out here because there just isn't room). I play tennis, bike, and hike. I live by the mountains in Colorado and love snow. The best table game in the world is Foosball and will challenge anyone for the fun of it. I am a little bit competitive as I am in the MLG pro circuit for RTS games, but that's a different story. I enjoy Dubstep and Light Christian Metal(Think Red or Disciple). I will be totally willing to host some gaming tourneys or just hang out on Minecraft. Oh and you can choose how the room is, and no I am not a slob :3

My name is Carly and I just put in my deposit for this upcoming semester! I am very excited about the whole college process, and I know it's early, but I'd really like to see if anyone would like to room with me.

I am a nursing major. I chose nursing immediately after showing my mother in her field. I knew that was what God intended me to do. I applied for the Air Force ROTC scholarship, and I will be hearing their decision in about two months. On that note, I love all things fitness! I love running, biking, hiking, weight training, zumba, yoga, etc. I really want to take a kickboxing class and I want to learn how to surf. I'd really like a roommate to go running with, I like having a buddy.
I also love to sing. I sing at work, I sing at school, I sing in the shower...you name the place, I sing there too. I used to play the saxophone, and want to start playing again. I'm trying to learn how to play the guitar. Music is something that I have a huge passion for.
Academics are really important to me. I will be determined to get good grades, but I also want to make sure that I take advantage of all the activities Cedarville has to offer!
Personally, I like to clean. I don't get angry or frustrated when there is a mess. I mean, unless it smells like something dying or it is prohibiting me from walking across the floor, then we will have an issue.
In high school I was apart of all the choirs and plays. I was on the Track and Field team as well.

I'm thinking I want to live in either Rickard or Rogers. I'm an engineering major and I'm a runner. I'm also kinda tech savvy (I have a netbook and a laptop. I'm also hoping to split the cost of a projector with my roommate). Most other things about me are easy going as long as you are understanding and respectful of property that isn't yours. Besides that, I'm nearly open to anything (notice the presence of the word "nearly". If you become my roommate and decide one day that you're going to do a "school project" of raising hissing cockroaches or something like that, you better sleep with your eyes open!). Hey, I was looking at the jobs listing and clicked on the job application, and was actually able to fill out a job application thing on the web for the fall. However, does anyone know whether the departments besides Chucks (which has sign ups during Getting Started Weekend) will interview and hire over the summer? Or do they wait until the school year too?

I have worked for the past year in a Student Tech job, so I am hoping to get the Student Tech job on campus since the job summary makes it sound VERY similar to the job I'm in now. Next choice: library, third choice: campus safety telephone operator. last choice: chucks!

Hey there, I'm from Central New York (yes we have lots of snow). I recently signed with the Cedarville girls track team and am veryyyyy excited. Sports are a big passion in my life and consume a great deal of my time. I love going outside with friends and playing games, hiking or anything involving the outdoors and being active. Some may call me a die-hard when it comes to playing games i am very athletic both in clothing style and interest.

I am also a major nerd and will sometimes stay up late working on an assignment due the following week. My teachers describe me as an over-achiever. However, this doesn't mean that I do this all the time or that I never have fun. The opposite is true. I tend to be a loud, expressive person who gestures a LOT..hehe.

I also play the oboe and am planning on auditioning this fall 2011 for the band. I had the wonderful opportunity of playing in our high school musical pit orchestra 1st chair. I loved playing with people who care about expressing dramatic emotion through music. (Our production was Titanic (the stage version))

I very much did not like the motel style dorms when I stayed over with some track girls earlier this year. I want to be in either McKinny or Murphy. I am a fairly clean person, but sometimes due to time constraints don't immediatly clean up after myself. Messes do drive me nuts after they have been there for a few days.

As long as I've had enough sleep, I'm a morning person. (sorry!) I have a very long hobby list. I have many quirks such as loving to wear bare feet everywhere, and sleeping with several pillows. Just a few of my hobbies include, art projects (sketching, photography, sewing, writing poetry...etc), volleyball, gardening, herbology, hair styling/design (yes i can do fairly elaborate hairstyles from a picture, i typically don't wear them on myself), and archery. I also would love to be hooked on rock climbing.

I am a big fan of comfy clothes and modern christian music (Skillet, Tenth Avenue North, SuperChick, BarlowGirl etc...). I HATE the color pink. No ifs ands or buts about it. If you like pink, we shouldn't room together. Friends sure, roommates NO. Love ya but no.

I am a very avid reader, particularly of historical fiction and dysteria. I do not particuarly care for the Twilight series, although I will watch the movies if you bribe me with popcorn or chocolate. I enjoy studying for school and the Bible with people (more so small groups).

I am a fairly blunt person. I am very outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic about life, God, and track. I am a very loyal person who trys to stay out of drama and arguments (they waste time). I am sometimes quite weird and will often say what my friends call "nerd jokes". I am a well rounded person who gets along with people willing to try. I get very frustrated with people who don't care about their education/sport/friends (all the above).

anyway........if you can't tell I write a lot, and this very much reflects my personality. I am a good listener and very supportive person. I have been called a "motivator" by my team and current track coach. I love to laugh and smile and brighten everyone's day

Hello everyone. My name is Marleigh and I will be starting at Cedarville in the fall! Alright. Roommate search.... Well I am an organized person and I don't necessarily enjoy messes. When I have a mess it bugs me. I am a small town kind of person and love walking and looking around, but also love visiting the city. I love to read and my favorite genre is classics. I am a music person so I will have instruments and I do sing. I am constantly busy and always have something to do, even if it's sleep. I am good about waking up in the morning and I don't go to sleep until late at night, but on rare occasions I enjoy sleeping early. My favorite color is green and I am majoring in theatre and minoring in music.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Mary and I would like to find out a little more about each of you, in the spiritual sense, so that we can know each other in the Lord when we arrive in the fall.

Post a note about what the Lord has been teaching you in this season - the "right before leaving home/transferring" season.

Recently I was struggling with prayer. It seemed that my prayers were not doing anything and that I was just going through the motions, not desiring to pray or gaining joy from praying. And why is prayer so important if it has no meaning or significance?
Then, a couple days ago, in Revelation chapter five, verse eight stood out to me: "And when He [the Lamb] had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints." Tears came to my eyes. I could hardly believe it! The Lord counts my prayers worthy to be in a golden bowl offered up to Him!
I was also reminded that Jesus continually offers up intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25). And He is offering us the privilege of joining Him in this act of intercession!
My dad added to my excitement about praying. He reminded me that Jesus told His disciples, "Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Matt. 18:18 Our prayers are heard by the ALMIGHTY God. And He takes action! He answers our prayers and is moved by them (see Moses' example in Exodus 32:11-14).

Do not cease praying, my brothers and sisters, for our prayers are a delight to our God, and our prayers are answered!

Hey girls! So I'm still looking for a roomate for this fall, so I thought I'd see if anyone on here would be willing to room with me! (I have a couple of other people I'm still waiting on to see if they'll room with me, so no guarantees just yet)

A couple of things you probably should know about me:
I'm a Nursing Major
I'm not too picky about falling asleep at a certain time (unless I have finals or something)
I LOVE music! I'm particularly fond of classic rock, but I'm cool with just about anything.
I have an orange refrigerator for my future dorm room! So whoever rooms with me won't need to bring that.
I DON'T SNORE!!
I'm pretty clean, but I can get a bit lazy lol.
Also, I sometimes can be loud, so my roomate probably will need to put up with that sometimes haha

A week from today I will be at Cedarville for the leadership conference...and I know NO ONE! So please introduce yourself - I just discovered this forum and I wish I had known about it before.

And yes, I will most likely be attending Cedarville starting in the fall of 2011 (I've already been accepted), so any other prospective students - I would love to talk to you too! I will be pre-med but I'm not 100% committed to any specific major right now. I've also applied to the Honors Program.

I am a Florida girl so I am really not into the 25-degree, snow thing. Someone is going to have to teach me how to dress and drive in freezing weather!

So I just found out from my admissions counselor that I have been accepted. I am so totally excited! I can't wait to go. I remember visiting. Best college I have ever seen. The atmosphere itself is incredible and then all of the students are the kindest and most honest I have ever met. I have also been accepted into the Honor Choir and will be at Cedarville in February.
