I am an incoming freshman for next semester and I want to audition for either Women's Choir or Jubilate. I know Jubilate is co-ed, but other than that, what are the main differences (if any) between the two? Any comments from anyone else with experience in either of the groups would be great, too!

My question is, is it hard for first year students to get into a hall? I like the hall dorms a lot better than the unit style because the rooms are bigger, and they just seen roomier (is that a word? haha) anyways, thanks in advance for the help!

A little bit about myself: I will be a sophomore nursing major next year, and I will most likely be living in Willets. If you are not interested in living there, I am probably not the roommate God want for you lol. I love vintage style stuff and clothes, am very random and easygoing about most things, and am looking for a roommate with similar attributes as I:

I tend to go to bed between 11 and 1, but that might change with next year's schedule. I'm a fairly tidy person, but if I'm too messy, you can tell me and I'll clean up I also have a bright orange refrigerator and a white microwave, so you wouldn't have to provide those.

Is it necessary to have a major or minor in music to be able to join?
Also, what is the level of difficulty for the auditions? I play the viola, and have often been in the first couple of chairs in the school orchestra, but the pieces we play are not that difficult. I am just curious about how hard it is to get it, and am not even sure if I'm going to join yet.

I do have a love for music though, even though I'm not majoring in it. I hope to keep it an important part of my life by joining the orchestra, but am a little worried about what is required.

My mom is trying to figure out the best way for me to get money from home while I'm away. Do most people use a local bank, a bank at home, ATM card, check card, etc? The only ATM on campus is 5/3rd Bank and we have a different one at home.

I'm coming out of a high school orchestra that played a lot of intermediate level music that wasn't always particularly challenging. So I'm just wondering if it will be a pleasant change to be challenged, or if I'm in for a complete shock with crazy hard music.
