I applied to Cedarville in the early fall and have been accepted. I recently confirmed my acceptance of financial aid and intention to attend Cedarville.

I have a www.fastweb.com account and I've noticed that, in the scholarship listings under my name, that there are many scholarships offered by Cedarville. I am interested in acquiring scholarships, and I was wondering if I needed to apply for these seperately or if I automatically applied for them when I sent in my Leadership Scholarship Application?

i got accepted at Cedarville this coming fall and i have a few questions regarding financial aid. I know that it is limited for internationals but are there any that i could apply/qualify for? I've noticed the deadlines for some of the scholarships, however i didn't recieve my acceptance letter prior to the deadline and so ... i wouldn't have the slightest clue whether i should have applied.

My son has been accepted to Cedarville for 2005 and has received the faculty scholarship of 2200 dollars a year. Leaving somewhere in the neighborhood of 20,000 dollars a year to pay. We want very much for our son to attend Cedarville but this amount seems enormous to us. Would it be unusal or realistic to expect borrowing $80,000 for the 4 years at Cedarville. We have no money set aside for college.and also will have another son starting college as well. Can we make this work? I know we will be filling out a Fasfa in January and may get a little help. It all just seems impossible right now.
To complicate matters our son has received a 2 year full tuition scholarship offer at Ohio-University-Lancaster because of his 4 point and 29 on the ACT. It would be nice if Cedarville offered this.
Cedarville is still his and our first choice. We want so much for him to go where the Lord is taught and pis present. I would like to say that the money doesn't matter but it does. Can we make this work??

4. Are jobs available on campus?

Yes! Employment is available for all students.

5. What programs are regulated by the 30 day delay?

All Stafford loans that have been awarded to first year students or first time borrowers will have their first loan disbursements delayed for 30 days. If school starts on August 15 then your loans will be paid on September 15.

6. How much can I borrow?

a. Stafford loans amounts for students are regulated by your academic classification. (Freshman = $2625, Sophomores = $3500, Juniors = $5500, Seniors = $5500)
b. PLUS loan amounts are determined by the difference between ‘cost of attendance’ and the student’s financial aid.

7. What are the basic steps for having a Stafford loan processed?

a. Complete a FAFSA
b. Complete your Electronic award notification
c. Sign a MPN ( Master Promissory Note)
d. Complete on-line entrance counseling

8. How will I be notified about my financial aid package?

Your financial aid award notification will be sent to you by email. We will use the address you provided on your Admissions application and your CU email address.

9. What is verification?

An audit of your FAFSA data. Approximately 30 % of the students that complete a FAFSA are selected for ‘verification’. If you are selected you will need to provide CU with a copy of your tax return and W’2’s in addition to your parents tax return and W’2’s.

10. How can I apply for scholarships at CU?

a. Academic scholarships do not require any separate application.
b. Leadership, Ministry and Legacy scholarship applications are available on the Admissions office web site.
c. Endowment Awards – Eligible students will be notified if an application is necessary.

11. How often do I need to complete a FAFSA?
