He believes he wants to go into some type of writing major, maybe journalism. He has written a novel already, and is in the process of editing it and submitting it for publication.

He mainly wants to know what the camp entails and what type of writing will be required.

If you want to share, besides maybe just being good at soccer and liking the sport , how did you know it was the right thing to do ( playing in college i mean ) i don't know if that makes sense .. but maybe better phrased , how did you know you were in God's will when you made your decision to play or if that was the best thing to do ?
Hey Guys,
I am parusing the college world looking for a place where God would have me. I am just curious if anyone can let me know: how successful are students at Cedarville at paying for their college education. I am a Missionary kid from Northern Michigan (My parents work at a camp as full-time missionaries) do any of you perchance happen to know where Fairview is?) My family is in no way shape or form on the wealthy side, but I would like to be able to attend a christian college. I get good grades and got a pretty good score on the ACT, but know that this will not be enough. I was also wondering about athletic scholarships. How easy (or hard) is it to get funding for athletic skill? I would like to play baseball. From the colleges that I have checked out so far I have been firmly informed that it is either impossible or exhausting for one person to participate in both sports and music (vocal) just wondering if there was any advice out there. Well you all have a good day.
Brandon

Pastoral Studies vs. Pre-seminary

The only thing that I have certain in my future is that I want to be a pastor. Up until I found this school, I figured that, naturally, a Pastoral Studies major was the way to go. But, once I found this school and its awesome Pre-Seminary program, I began re-evaluating all my previous college choices. I intend on continuing my studies in grad school, probably a seminary, but I definitely want to be able to work some kind of pastoral or church leadership ministry during grad school. Considering both of these factors, which major would suit me best? I'm leaning more towards Pre-Seminary (I love the implemented Greek & Hebrew minor and possible philosophy minor), but I don't want to make a rash decision that is going to have a major impact on the way I serve God for 4+ years.

I'm in the extra fun position of being the first college-bound student AND the first to have a relationship with Christ in my family, so I have absolutely no idea what to do and no good source of advice. I hope some of you guys can help.

I am accepted to Cedarville as well as a public school and I am having a very hard time making my decision. I have been praying to know God's will in my life and I want to serve him wherever I go. It's getting to the point where I think I'm over analyzing everything, but I am just trying to make a decision. My concern is that I won't be able to witness at a Christian campus. How can I be used? As Christians our purpose is to share His Good News! Another concern of mine is keeping myself busy. Throughout High school I have been really invovled in activities. I am also more productive in schoolwork when I am busy and am in a time crunch. What sort of activities can I be involved in? Or simply, is there much to do on a day to day basis? I visited the school a week ago and enjoyed it, but I'm not yet conviced that this is the place for me. I would greatly appreciate any feedback from current CU students. Thanks!
