Forward E-Mail: CedarInfo

To forward only your Internet e-mail to another e-mail address, you can use CedarInfo rather than create a GroupWise rule.

Note:

By setting up a forwarding address through CedarInfo, your Internet e-mails will automatically be forwarded to the new address and will not be delivered to nor stored in your GroupWise inbox.

Set Up Internet E-Mail Forwarding

  1. Select [CedarInfo] from the homepage (FacStaff or Student).
  2. In the "Individual (General) Transactions" menu, choose "Set your email forwarding address."
  3. Enter a start date (the default is the current date).
  4. Enter an end date or cancel the forwarding instruction at a later date.
  5. Click [Submit Change].

A confirmation message will appear if your request is processed. It may take a couple of hours for the change to take effect.

Cancel Internet E-Mail Forwarding

  1. Select [CedarInfo] from the homepage (FacStaff or Student).
  2. In the "Individual (General) Transactions" menu, choose "Set your email forwarding address."
  3. Check the "Cancel my e-mail forwarding address" radio button.
  4. Click [Submit Change].

A confirmation message will appear if your request is processed. It may take a couple of hours for the change to take effect.
