Freeze Panes in Spreadsheets
Freezing the panes in Excel allows you to enter multiple columns and rows of data and still be able to view your column and row headings as you scroll down or over.
Freeze Panes in Microsoft Excel 2007 and 2010:
- Open your document.
- Select the "View" tab > Select "Freeze Panes" from the "Windows" group.
- Select either "Freeze Top Row" or "Freeze First Column." Choose "Unfreeze Panes" to unfreeze your panes.
