Google Mail: Add an Email to Google Tasks

Google Mail allows you to add an email to your task list. When you do this, a task will appear in the tasks panel that has a link to the associated email.

  1. Log in to Google Mail.
  2. Check the box next to the desired email or open the email itself.
  3. Above your list of emails or above the email itself, click [More].
  4. From the dropdown menu, click [Add to Tasks]. A task will appear in the tasks pane named as the subject line of the email. To access the email from the tasks pane, click the “Related email” link.
