Redwood: Install Datatel on University Computer

All Cedarville staff with Datatel accounts are permitted to install Datatel from the CedarNet menu. Staff only need to install Datatel if they receive a new computer or if their computer is re-imaged by information technology.

  1. Go to [Start] > "All Programs."
  2. Select "_CedarNet" > "Server Specific" > "Datatel 2.3"
  3. Datatel will install from CedarNet. If you have problems with installation, submit a Computer Service Request.

After a successful installation, if you receive a Unix prompt error when attempting to log in, follow the instructions on the Unix Prompt Error page to fix the problem.
