Use Format Painter
If you’ve applied unique formatting to your bullet or numbering lists (or even your headings/fonts) and you would like to apply those styles to other areas of your document, use Format Painter. Instead of having to manually apply the font, font effects, centered paragraph alignment, and other formatting to each new section, you can quickly copy all of the formatting attributes.
- Click and drag to highlight the bulleted or numbered sentence in its entirety.
- Click [Format Painter] in the “Clipboard” section of the “Home” tab.
- Click and hold to highlight the text you would like to format.
- Release your “click” when you have highlighted the text to be formatted.
The text will format with the specialty options you have set.
