Wireless Connection to CU-Secure

Before you start...

By default, your personal device will connect to cu-unsecure, and you can use this wireless network by logging in with your CedarNet login information when prompted.

However, information technology strongly recommends that users connect to the cu-secure network using the following instructions. The cu-secure network provides increased security, fewer prompts to log in, and access to CedarPrint.

You will only need to complete this process once for each device with which you access cu-secure.

Note:

If you are running and older version of Mac OS (OS X 10.4 Tiger or earlier), please stop this process and bring your computer to the computer assistance center for support.

  1. Airport service should be turned on by default to automatically detect available wireless networks. If not, turn it on.
  2. Click the wireless icon in your upper toolbar and select "cu-secure."
  3. Log in using your CedarNet username and password. Click [OK]. If you do not remember your CedarNet username and password, please contact information technology at 937-766-7905 for assistance.
