Word: Watermark

There may be a time when you want to add a watermark to a page, either to make it more visually appealing or to let the reader know that the document is a draft. The following steps instruct you on how to add watermarks with images or text.

  1. Go to the “Page Layout” tab.
  2. In the “Page Background” group, select “Watermark.”
  3. Choose the watermark you want or select “Custom Watermark.”

In addition to images, you also have the option of using text as a watermark. Fill in the proper fields to complete the custom watermark and select [OK].
