- 1. Is CU accredited?
- Yes! Cedarville is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCACS).
- 2. How many students are there at CU?
- 3,000 students are enrolled; 54% women, 46% men
- 3. What is the student/faculty ratio & average class size?
- 14 to 1
- 20; varies depending on whether the class is a general education or major specific class
- 4. Does CU offer athletic scholarships?
- Athletic grants-in-aid are available for qualified athletes. Inquiries should be addressed to our athletic director, Mark Womack
- 5. Are students allowed to have cars on campus?
- Yes. However, in keeping with a "less privileged position", freshman students are subject to a more strict enforcement of the vehicle regulations. Freshman found in violation of the CUVR will have listed fines doubled automatically (i.e. a $15 fine for parking in the wrong lot will automatically double to $30).
- 6. What is there to do for fun?
- The Student Life Division is responsible for providing many programs. They oversee over 70 student organizations. Programs include:
- Artist series: sponsor concerts, cultural programs, musical specialists
- Banquets, talent nights, all-school parties, interest trips, retreats
- Intramural sports and off-campus opportunities

- Business, Education, Science & Mathematics, Bible, Engineering, & Nursing
- 8. What is Cedarville's religious affiliation?
- CU is an accredited, Christ-centered Baptist university of arts, sciences, professional & graduate programs. (About 60% of our students are from Baptist churches/40% from other evangelical churches.)
- 9. What is Cedarville's media (movies, television, & music) policy?
- Followers of Jesus Christ are encouraged to test everything, hold on to the things that are good, and toavoid every kind of evil (1 Thes. 5:21,22). There are guidelines in our Student Handbook that should be used to evaluate all use of media (www.cedarville.edu/studenthandbook).
