Missions Involvement Services (MIS)
The primary objective of MIS is to broaden the interest of students, faculty, staff, and alumni for missions and to provide an opportunity for short term exposure to mission life. Such an exposure, however, is intended not only for the benefit of seeing missions first hand, but also for the purpose of being of service in that missionary outreach.
Since 1970, Cedarville MIS has sent over 5,000 participants to over 89 countries. Participants raise financial and prayer support through interested donors and report about their ministry upon returning.
MIS has developed a unique team outreach. In addition, close cooperation with approved mission agencies is maintained for the placing of individual participants. Fields of service may be introduced through mission agencies, faculty/staff or student particular interest, or from the missionaries themselves.
