Mission Statement:

Christians believe that human life is sacred. The biblical record states that God created man in His image, that man is unique in the universe, and that he has great value to the Creator. Scripture strongly implies that the developing individual is a person, from the womb to the end of life.

Yet modern biotechnology has created a whole new set of moral questions that challenge such traditional views. A broad range of ethical values informs and directs much of the debate. Academically sound biblical arguments are needed to impact the larger secular discussion over such issues as abortion, euthanasia, assisted suicide, embryo experimentation, and human cloning.

It is our duty as Christians to show the importance of Scripture and sound reasoning to provide answers to vital bioethical questions.
