NOTES:
In this low-power view of jejunum, the intestinal lumen is to the left. Notice the typical villi which extend into the lumen, with intestinal glands (crypts of Lieberkuhn) located on each side. Seen in the upper right corner, the muscularis of the jejunal wall is very thin.
