Anterior Horn Cells
NOTES:
This is a high-power view of a single anterior horn cell. This large multipolar neuron has a clearly visible axon and several dendrites. Within the cell body is the nucleus, with a prominent nucleolus. Dark purple staining Nissl bodies are seen in the cytoplasm.
