Brazil is a Portuguese speaking country. With that spanish heritage comes a Roman Catholic Heritage as well. Many holidays are celebrated by Brazilians.

Many different hoidays are celebrated in the former capital of Rio de Janeiro.

Some of these holidays include a gigantic New Year's Eve Celebration, Carnaval, and a large Easter Celebration.
