Brazil is located in South America on the North Eastern Seaboard. It is in the southern hemisphere. Brazil is further west than every point in Florida. The total area of Brazil is slightly smaller than the United States of America.

The capital of Brazil is Brasilia. The former capital is Rio de Janeiro, which is still a popular tourist and vacation area today.
