NILE RIVER

The Nile River was the country’s main highway, carrying both goods and people.

The Nile River was the most important thing in Ancient Egypt.

It provided water to drink, water to bathe in, and water to water the crops.

Rain is rare in a desert, and so the Nile played a very important role in it's success.

The Nile provided the Egyptians with food, for they could hunt, and fish on the river.

When building a pyramid, boats carried the stones up and down the river.
