Upon first glance, one cannot help but notice the boot shape, that so quickly identifies the country of Italy. It lies between the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian Seas and claims Sardinia, the island west of Italy, as its own. The geography of Italy is quite diverse. It contains mountains, flat lands, beaches and rivers. Without question, Italy is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe.
