In
the sixteenth century the Roman Catholic Church in England cut its ties
with Rome and became the Church of England known as the Anglican Church.
During the nineteenth century hundreds
of missionaries carried the gospel from England to nearly every comer of
the globe.

however, the nation that once stood as a lighthouse of truth is
suffering spiritual darkness. Less than three percent of its people
attend any church regularly. |
England
is largely a pagan nation today with only a glimmer of truth here and
there, as a reminder of its once Christian heritage.
