Washington is located on the North-western most corner of the contiguous United States and is bordered by Oregon to the South, Idaho to the East, Canada to the North and the Pacific Ocean to the West. It has a great deal of beautiful scenery with many hills and mountains, some of which are volcanic, such as Mt. Saint Helens which is in the Cascade Mountain Range. Washington also has many lakes and rivers that flow from the mountains. The largest river in the Columbia River, on the northern part of which is the Grand Coulee Dam.
