Christmas Day
The Christmas tree has been a part of Christmas in Sweden since the 1700's. Most Swedens bring at least one tree into their house one or two days before Christmas Day and put light bulbs, sparkling objects and wrapped candies on it. (Click here to print your own tree to decorate.) January 6th is called Christmas Tree Plundering, because the children dance around the Christmas tree and take all the decorations off. Then they throw it out into the snow!
