Prephysical Therapy

The prephysical therapy program will prepare you for graduate school in physical therapy. Most Cedarville students who successfully apply to graduate programs in physical therapy have completed the B.A. in biology. You can also choose undergraduate majors such as allied health and exercise science. Students should contact the specific schools they wish to attend to determine the exact prerequisites.

Program Highlights

  • In addition to your general education degree requirements, you will take additional biology, chemistry, math, physics, psychology, athletic training, and exercise science courses.
  • Physical therapy schools usually require 40 to 100 hours of experience assisting a licensed physical therapist prior to applying to graduate school.
