Accreditation #387

The Cedarville University EMS Education Program was developed to meet the needs of the Cedarville University EMS squad, fire departments and EMS departments who are providing skilled emergency medical care to the communities they serve. Students receive valuable education through in-class sessions and experience real life situations during clinical hours and simulations.

The EMS training courses give students fundamental skills and intense training to prepare them for the National Registry Exam. After completing the course and passing the NRE, students will be qualified to provide emergent care in a pre-hospital setting to their level of certification. Students enrolled at Cedarville may be awarded three semester hours each toward general electives for EMT or AEMT certification by the Registrar’s Office when the certificate is presented.
