Internship in Youth Ministry

BECE-4750

A mentored and evaluated ministry experience under the direction of a qualified youth minister. This is an opportunity to utilize and develop knowledge and skills from classes in a youth ministry context appropriate for student's interest and preparation. Capstone course. Repeatable to 12 hours. Prerequisites: 1.) Approval of the faculty of the Department of Biblical and Theological Studies. 2.) Senior academic status. 3.) Completion of the following five courses: BETH-2350 Theological Foundations of Ministry; BECE-2200 Introduction to Youth Ministry; BEST-2400 Interpreting and Teaching the Bible; BECE-3700 Campus Ministries; BEPT-2400 Personal Evangelism or BEPT-3410 Discipleship; Credit/No Credit.
