Contemporary Rhetoric

COM-4120

A survey of rhetorical theory that has developed since WWII. Selected respresentative, contemporary rhetorical theories will be studied and applied to US political communication. The course seeks to integrate the study of political messages and the current political culture. Special attention will be given to arguments presented to the public.
