One of the key components to outstanding preparation our program provides is that our teacher candidates spend up to 600 hours in field and clinical experience by the time they graduate. Time spent in real classrooms with real students provide our teacher candidates with necessary skills and practical application of what they are learning in their Teacher Education Program courses. Starting as early as freshman year, our teacher candidates participate in a field experience in a wide variety of school settings including rural schools, urban schools, suburban schools, alternative schools, and tutoring experiences.
