Dr. Hoagland teaches courses in linguistics, language teaching methods, and composition at Cedarville University. Her doctoral research took her to western China, where she explored English language instruction in a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual context. Her background comprises more than 10 years of classroom experience among diverse ESL/EFL populations. She joined the Cedarville faculty in 2017.Education and Credentials
