When searching for a college, my curiosity was piqued by the words “Keyboard Pedagogy” on Cedarville’s list of majors. Now I am truly in my dream job, as a piano instructor and studio owner, because I followed God’s call and direction from Prof. Connie Anderson to pursue a career in music. Since graduation, I have been able to influence hundreds of students in their love for music and encourage them in the same way I have been through godly examples set at Cedarville. I now manage a successful and thriving independent music studio, The Studio Connection, in Bowling Green, OH. A recent move to a newly renovated, larger location provides room for the studio to grow. With a desk manager and eight other teachers, we currently offer private, group lessons and early-childhood Musikgarten classes to over 100 students studying all varieties of instruments on a weekly basis.Susan West BA in Music - Keyboard Pedagogy ‘98
