Biography

Suzanne Lefever serves as associate professor of nursing, and has been with Cedarville University since 2001. She teaches junior year maternal-newborn nursing and freshman year introductory nursing.  Suzanne is active on various committees and involved in developing online programs.

Prior to coming to Cedarville University Suzanne worked for eighteen years in the Lancaster General Hospital health system, beginning as a Registered Nurse in medical-surgical nursing followed by sixteen years in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

The last ten years in the NICU were at the Lancaster General Women’s and Babies Hospital as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.  Her role included direct patient management, high risk delivery, transport, and staff education.

Interests

Suzanne is married, and they have one son. 

Personal interest – Family time, reading, being outside - especially at the beach.

Professional interest – maternal child health, informatics, online education, developing and mentoring student relationship
