Michael Firmin, Ph.D.Distinguished Professor of Psychology
Dr. Michael Firmin has served as a full-time psychology faculty member since 1988. He serves as Editor for the Journal of Ethnographic and Qualitative Research (JEQR) and directs the 30th Annual Ethnographic and Qualitative Research (EQRC) Conference, the 21st Annual American Association of Behavioral and Social Sciences (AABSS) Conference, and the 2nd Annual Conference for Academic Research in Education (CARE). Dr. Firmin has published more than 120 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented more than 170 papers in national, juried research conferences. He has a part-time private practice in forensic and clinical psychology. Dr. Firmin is an award-winning classroom instructor and serves as a peer-reviewer and team chair for accreditation site team visits for North Central Association’s Higher Learning Commission.
