Biography

Professor Kucharski teaches Introduction to Design, Costume Design, Costume History, and Makeup Design. He has a diverse design background in theatre, film, and themed entertainment. His designs have been showcased worldwide, most recently as part of the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He has worked on projects for Disney, Universal Studios, DreamWorks, Western Costume, The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles, and Saddleback Church. His specific areas of interest include costume history, large scale costume crafts; carved foam, armor and distressing, and costume technology; digital rendering and custom fabric printing.
