The American Heart Association Heartsaver AED Course is designed to prepare people to provide CPR and use AEDs in a timely and effective manner. This course is for people with limited or no medical training. Students must be 12 years old to participate.
This one hour session includes the skills training and test (parts 2 and 3). Registrants should wait for confirmation of enrollment before completing the online AHA training (part 1). Upon successful completion of the online training, a certificate will be issued, which must be submitted the day of the skills training and test. With successful completion of all three parts, a Heartsaver AED card will be issued that is valid for two years.
